Introducing the New Marvel Super Heroes Magazine from Disney Publishing (Review and Giveaway)

Marvel Super Heroes Magazine

While promoting National Comic Book Day recently, I found out about a great new magazine from Disney Publishing, called Marvel Super HeroesThis new 36-page publication for young and old comic book readers, is sure to delight fans of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and The Incredible Hulk. Inside every issue there are action-packed comics and a never-ending cast of villains ready for battle. Inviting families to bring home the “Mighty Marvel Universe,” the magazine features brain teasing puzzles, cool activities, cut-outs, plus an exclusive poster of the Invincible Iron Man.

I was sent their first issue, and shared it with my husband, who is a huge Marvel Super Heroes fan.  You should seen his face when I gave him the comic book to read.  His eyes lit up like a child's on Christmas morning.  He tried to play it cool by flipping through the pages, but I could tell he was counting down the minutes until the girls went down for their afternoon nap.  And, sure enough, as soon as they were asleep, he was in his man cave with this first issue Marvel Super Heroes magazine.  When he resurfaced an hour later, he told me he knew what he wanted for his upcoming birthday -- a subscription to this magazine.  Even though the magazine contained games and pull out poster younger children would enjoy, he said he couldn't get over the color graphics and how all his favorite characters were in one magazine/comic book.  I asked to see the magazine and looked through it.  I could see what he was talking about regarding the eye-catching graphics and all the super heroes present.  So, that night, I ordered him a subscription to this magazine, to surprise him with.  I can't wait to see his reaction again, when he receives his next issue in the mail.

Do you have a Marvel Super Hereos fan in the house, or would like to introduce your child to a comic book type publisher?  Then, why not pick up this or the next issue of Marvel Super Heroes Magazine.  It will delight both children and adults, like it did my husband.

  4. This is a tricky question. He's 2 1/2 so his favorite changes by the minute. I think he really loves Captain America the most, but he screams the word Ironman out all the time when we are in public. :) He also likes smashing like the Hulk. He's 2 so I can't explain the why he likes anything!
