Feature Friday -- The Baby Face Band -- Helping Toddlers Pick Their Sippy Cup Out of a Group of Sippy Cups (Review)

This past Monday, I introduced you all to Laura Black, creator of the Baby Face Band. If you missed my interview with her, click here to read it now.  Today, I wanted to share my personal experience with this must have item for parents with toddlers, and share a special "2 for 1" offer, just for Inspired by Savannah readers.

Have you ever been with a group of children, and find that a couple toddlers have the same exact sippy cup?  Well, being a new mom to the "Mommy and Me" scene, I found this out the hard way on a few occasions, and ended up having to toss the sippy cup we came home with, as I wasn't sure if it was Savannah's or not.  After the first mix up, I ordered stickers with her name on it.  The only problem was that Savannah couldn't read.  So, when she went to pick up her sippy cup after running around, she was only looking for the pink cup, with a purple handle.  Then, when I packed everything up to go home, I realized she had grabbed the wrong cup, yet again.  After this, I began to think what could I do, besides strapping it to her wrist (just kidding), so that she would know which cup was hers.  While surfing the Internet, I stumbled across the Baby Face Band, and was excited to see that it was created by another mom entrepreneur.  I, then, reached out to Laura and asked to be a Spotlight Mom.  I was excited when she sent along a sample for me to try out with Savannah.

The Baby Face Band was so each to use.  I simply put a photo of Savannah, as well as her name on the band, which then slid around the cup.  I showed Savannah the sippy cup, and she smiled when she saw her face on the band.  I told her to look for this, when she went to grab her sippy cup out in a group.  I couldn't wait to try to the Baby Face Band at her next library meetup. At the next meetup, Savannah looked for her face on her sippy cup, and grabbed the right one.  And, the other girls knew that the cup with Savannah's picture was Savannah's and not theirs.  Finally, problem solved.  Now, whenever we go out, I make sure the Baby Face Band is around Savannah's sippy cup.  I can't tell you how many moms have asked me about this band, and said that they needed to get this, as they were frustrated with sippy cup mix ups.  They also found the stickers with names on them not to work with their little ones, and half the time they wore off after repeated washing.

So, if you have toddler who uses a sippy cup, you really need to invest in this mom-invented product.  It is truly a lifesaver and sippy cup saver.
