Mother's Day Gift Giving Guide -- Judi Painted It (Review and Giveaway)

Hand painted wine glasses specializing in Bridesmaid gifts. FREE Personalization and yes they are dishwasher safe. A unique functional keepsake that will be cherished forever.

When it comes to buying gifts for family and friends, I always try to find unique and fun items that one would not think of getting, as these are usually the gifts that are treasured and talked about for years to come.  So, when I was putting together m Mother's Day Gift Giving Guide this year, I made it a priority to include handmade products, as these are the types of gifts I would love to give and receive.

A few months ago, I stumbled across Judi Painted It, and was impressed with her designs and color choices.   Judi's glasses are hand painted with enamel glass paint, followed with a clear coat for extra durability and then baked, making them top rack dishwasher safe. And, for those who like to buy USA made, everything from the glasses to the paint, down to the scalloped care tags,  is made in the USA.

When I reached out to Judi, and asked if she wanted to be featured in my guide, I was excited when she said yet, not just because I wanted to share her handpainted glassware with you, but also because I wanted to see her work up close. :-)  Judi sent me the following round Anchor Hocking, 16 oz Heavy hot liquid mug that measure 5 x 3.25, and another 1.5 inch to the width for the handle.

You can use this glass mug to drink your hot and iced coffee in, as well as to enjoy a cold glass of freshly brewed iced tea, now that the weather is getting warmer.

Upon taking this handpainted mug out of the box, I was in awe at how much time and effort went into the intricate detailing of the flower.  I could tell just by looking at the craftsmanship, that Judi puts her heart and soul into each and every piece that she paints.  With this particular glass coffee mug,  it consisted of three flowers.  What was so cool about these handpainted flowers, is that when you look inside the glass, you can see the back side of the flowers.

This truly shows how Judi is a perfectionist, and wants to make sure see is capturing the true essence of these beautiful blooms, right down to the bright colors she uses.  And, with spring upon us, who wouldn't want to be enjoying a hot or cold beverage in this handpainted mug?

In addition to this mug, I wanted to share some of the other products Judi has painted and is currently offering in her Etsy online store.

Impressed?   I sure am.  So, what are you waiting for?  Head on over to Judi's online store to browse her current selection.  Like a particular design, but wish it was on a different style of glassware?  Not to worry.  Just drop Judi an email and she can create a custom order to fit your needs.  How is that for convenience and customer service.  This is one of the main reasons I love working with artists and US-based businesses. They always go the extra mile to make sure you are completely satisfied. And, if you order handpainted glassware from Judi, you will not be disappointed.
