My Thoughts:

Guess how I put Savannah to bed early tonight?  With the help of this amazing instrumental CD, by Putumayo Kids, titled Dreamland.  This is the first time Savannah is in bed and sleeping before 9PM.  Usually, she fights to go to bed, and usually konks out by 10PM.  But, tonight we tried something different.  With Nana and Papa here, we gave Savannah an oatmeal bath at 7PM, and then Nana laid in bed with Savannah and listened to this soothing collection of instrumental music.  Within 15 minutes, both Nana and Savannah were asleep.  I could hear the music from the kitchen, and found myself relaxing and humming along to classics like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Brahm's Lullaby and What a Wonderful World.  This instrumental lullaby CD contains music from the USA, Brazil, Ireland and Japan, which is great, as it introduces young children to music from around the world.  As I am writing this review, Savannah is still sleeping.  Where has this bedtime CD been?  I can't wait to begin a bedtime ritual of listening to this instrumental CD after we read a few bedtime books each night.  I am crossing my fingers that it will work in relaxing her and keeping her asleep.  Now, if only Arabella would relax enough and fall peacefully asleep.  At least one child is sleeping, so that is better than nothing.

If you are looking for the perfect bedtime relaxation CD for your little one, why not check out this CD, which will be available on 2/28.  This CD would make a perfect baby shower gift, or gift for new parents.  Both parent and child will feel relaxed listening to each of the 11 tracks on this melodic CD.

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this CD by the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
