Summary:

Sparky is a high-spirited sports car who's sick of his boring life. He wants to hit the highway and explore the world, but first he needs a GPS. In order to make money to purchase one, Sparky takes a series of jobs that just don't seem to pan out. When he finds himself working at Diesel's Greasy Springs Circus—a shady operation where cars are pitted against each other in dangerous contests—Sparky ends up racing for his life. Hang on tight as Sparky tries to survive this wild ride!

My Thoughts:

I hadn't seen the first Car's Life, so didn't know what to expect with Car's Life.  As a parent, who has seen Cars, I was disappointed in this spin off of the hit movie loved by many.  In this film, Sparky is the main character, who is bored with his life and searching for an adventure.  Young children, I would say between the ages of 3-6, would enjoy this film for the animated cars.  Each car is bright and colorful and really grabs a child's attention.  But, beyond this, the plot is less than desirable and not one that would make for a classic animated hit.  But, the younger crowd will mainly be watching this film for the cars and not the plot.   I would suggest renting this and not purchasing it.

Disclosure:  I was sent a copy of this DVD from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
