My Thoughts:
My daughter just loves this trampoline. At first, she didn’t know what to make of it, but after I bounced her around on it a few times, I couldn’t get her to stop jumping and running in place. It took a few tries to show her the correct way to get off the trampoline, but after that she was able to get up and down with ease. I don’t think she would have been able to get up and down off of the Jumping Jr. - First Trampoline at 12 months, as she was only beginning to walk and get accustomed to standing on both feet. And, she would not have gotten the concept of jumping up and down. Now that she is 18 months, I am always looking for fun and engaging toys with help with learning development. With this toy she is learning cause and effect – that if she jumps on the mat, that she will bounce up and down. Since receiving this product a few weeks ago, it has quickly become a favorite of Savannah and her friends. Each morning, I incorporate a quick workout routine that she does to get her ready for the day ahead. I turn on the radio and Savannah jumps and walks in place on her Jumping Jr. - First Trampoline.

My Thoughts:
In addition to the Jumping Jr. Trampoline, ALEX Toys also send along their Cuddly Kid Mirror for my now 8 week old daughter, Arabella to use. I placed it in her crib and caught her cooing and smiling at herself in the mirror the first day I placed her in the crib for a nap, after easily attaching it. Because she is too young to grab and touch things, I leaned into her crib and touches the pieces of toys to show her the crinkling sounds in the arms and legs. Arabella looked all around trying to find out where the noise was coming from. And, now that we are beginning back and tummy time with her, I attach this to her activity floor mat, as well as lay on the floor, and Arabella is able to look at herself.
Savannah even got in on the fun with this toy, as she is learning her body parts. As she looks in the Cuddly Kid Mirror, I ask her to point to her ears, eyes, mouth, nose, hair, etc. and she does. And, she gets a kick out of watching herself make funny faces in the mirror. I have even caught her a few times talking to herself in the mirror, which is so cute.
Overall, this is a great toy for the crib and for tummy time, and will be a toy that Arabella can grow with. And, with the crinkling arms and legs, it will keep her engaged and act as a great teaching tool when she begins to grab at things.
My Overall Opinion of ALEX Toys:
After reviewing both of these toys from ALEX Toys, I am happy to say that I am now a fan of this brand. You may think that some of their toys are pricey, but once you get them in your house and your child begins to use, you will see that they were worth the investment. And, like I said, these toys will grow with your child, unlike other toys that are played with a few times, and then thrown aside. I will get double the use out of the trampoline as both my daughters are young. So, if you have a few young children under 50 lbs., it will surely provide both you and your children hours of entertainment.
