My Thoughts:
Like I have said in previous posts, I have sensitive skin, so whenever I choose a bath and body product to use, I have to be careful that it will not irritate my skin. After visiting the OrganicaPure website and reading through the ingredients of each of their products, I couldn't wait to try these washes and shampoo out for myself. Just reading the ingredients relaxed me.
As soon as I received the package, I had to open it and smell each of the products. With honey as the base of each of the samples sent, I knew that it would leave my dry, rough skin feeling moisturized and soft. So, that night when my husband got home from work, I told him that he would be watching my then (16 month old daughter -- Bella had not arrived yet). I was going to spend the evening taking a nice long, hot shower, to try out these new products. He just looked at me. I was antsy all throughout dinner, as I knew as soon as we were done eating, the baby would be put to bed, and then my "me time" would begin. After the meal was done, dishes washed and baby down for the night, I quickly rushed to the bathroom to begin my shower.
Having smelled each of the products earlier in the, I couldn't wait to physically try them out and see how they would make my skin feel and smell. I started with the Aloe Vera and Honey body wash, followed up with the matching shampoo. Ahh, pure bliss. Just the aroma alone, as it suddsied up my parched skin, made for a relaxing feeling. I was amazed at how easy this body wash went on and washed off. Other so-called organic bath and body products I have tried in the past, left my skin greasy or dried out.
I wish I could have tried the cocoa and honey body wash, but I wanted to savor the relaxing scents of aloe vera and honey that evening. So, as soon as I got out of the shower and dried off, I took a look at my skin. It wasn't dry anymore. Instead, I was left with what felt like baby soft skin. I couldn't believe it! Just a short time earlier (well 30 minutes earlier), my skin was dry and rough. And, now, it was like I had new skin.
The next morning I felt my skin again -- still soft to the touch. And, the scents of aloe vera and honey were still present. When my husband leaned in to give me a kiss goodbye, he asked if I had washed my hair with honey. "It smelled sweet like honey," he said. I knew then, that I had to hide my OrganicaPure products, or he would try to sneak and use them.
Over the course of the week, I swapped up between the aloe vera and cocoa body washes. Both, smelled amazing and left my skin feeling hydrated and clean. And, recently, while staying with my 4 week old in the hospital after her surgery, I brought along the OrganicaPure aloe vera and honey body wash and shampoo. After being up for 2 days straight, I couldn't wait to hop in the shower and "wake up." As soon as I began lathering up, I began to feel rejuvenated, as the subtle aloe vera and honey scents filled the shower. Having been tired, stressed and worried, I was finally able to feel (a little) relaxed and awake, thanks to these great products.
