Superfoods - Pure and Simple

My Thoughts:
I was sent a sampling of Superfood pouches from Navitas Naturals to sample. These healthy snacks are jam packed with antioxidants, protein, essential fats, and other key minerals and nutrients not usually found in other so-called healthy and organics snacks. It was hard to choose a favorite flavor, as they were all so tasty and I was able to incorporate each flavored snack into my favorite granola, yogurt, milkshake or smoothie. Once added,it created a new dimensional of flavor that was ever so pleasing on the palette. I loved you could open up a bag and enjoy this healthy snack on the go, as well as add to your favorite desserts and snacks.
As for recipes, I found some easy to make and truly tastes ones on the Navitas Naturals website. A family favorite as the Acai Berry Smoothie. Here is the recipe, if you are interested:
1 tsp. Navitas Naturals Maca Powder
1 Tbsp. Navitas Naturals Acai Powder
1 Tbsp. Navitas Naturals Yacon Powder
1 cup Chia gel (see chia gel recipe)
2 Young Thai coconuts water and flesh
1 banana
1 cup Frozen blueberries or other frozen berries
Add Water as needed
Directions
Blend all ingredients together, adding water as needed, and serve!
