Last Minute Gift Giving Guide–Gifts for Kids: Kid Puzzles

Made by our family for yours...Child safe, natural wood puzzles made to last!

Looking for child-safe and quality handmade children's wooden puzzles, children's wooden name puzzles, a toddler puzzle with pegs or knobs, a personalized name Puzzle Stool, a locally made non-toxic wooden toy made in the USA, or a jigsaw puzzle for a special birthday or preschool graduation gift? Maybe you're looking for a Valentines or Easter gift, a Christmas or Chanukah puzzle...or possibly a personalized baby gift, such as a wood name puzzle or a puzzle with a monogram, and at a price any family can afford? We are Marvin and Margaret Jack. We live in Corvallis, Oregon and we personally design and make every wooden puzzle on our site!

Since 1984 we have been dedicated to providing creatively designed, durably constructed, sustainably made and reasonably priced children's wooden jigsaw puzzles. We are committed to making puzzles that are non-toxic, lead & cadmium free, and safe enough for our own children to use!

Over the years, parents, teachers, educators looking for Montessori and Waldorf puzzles and homeschool families have found our puzzles to be a valuable asset in their children's development and education.

We started as a young family making educational toys and puzzles for our children. Our hobby grew into a living and we now do this for families who care about the quality of toys their children play with. Our kids are grown, but we still love working with children and people, like you, who support them! Looking for a safe, American made toy that is made to last?....We're here for you!

Just look at some of the amazing puzzle Kid Puzzles offers through their online store:

In addition to these fun and educational puzzles, Kid Puzzles also offers personalized puzzles, which make for great keepsakes:

My Thoughts:

I was sent the Veggies in the Garden Peg Puzzle for my daughter to try.

She just loves this handcrafted and colorful puzzle.  Usually, she doesn’t play with the same toy all the time, but this is one of her favorites.  And, day in and day out, we spend over a half hour at a time playing with the puzzle.  She loves to dump the pieces out on the floor, and then picks them up individually, while deciding where they go.  Out of all the other puzzles, wooden and cardboard that I have bought her in the past, this one is by far the best in regards to quality. And, it is challenging enough to keep the little ones busy solving this cute veggie puzzle for hours.

So, if your children love puzzles like mine do, then why not consider picking them up a puzzle from Kid Puzzles for the upcoming holiday season, as well as for future holidays in 2012, like Valentine’s Day, Easter and their birthdays.  With the large assortment of puzzles and styles to choose from, you are bound to find just the right puzzle theme for your child.

Click here to visit Kid Puzzle’s online store, to view puzzles and place your order online.  The ordering process is easy, and I can’t stop raving about the customer service.  The original puzzle sent to me had a broken peg (usually only seen 1x per year), and the owner overnighted me a new puzzle, and followed up with a phone call.  Now, you wouldn’t get that service elsewhere, that is for sure!

Disclosure:  I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views above are mine and mine alone.
