My Thoughts:

What a great book for young children, ages 2-5.  Even though my daughter is only 14 months, I could tell she enjoyed this book, especially the computer-generated images by Daniel Roode.  I think this is what made the book/story.  Through these beautiful and bright images, Little Bea came to life.  As readers, we watch as she interacts with her cute and friendly friends, like the rabbit, beaver, ducks and so on.  Just look at how Daniel Roode depicts these computer-generated cast of characters:

I can't get over how crisp and fresh each image is and I found myself staring at the images in awe of their beauty.  You could skip the text (even though it is a cute story) and just admire the computer genius of Daniel Roode and his creative images that make up Little Bea.  I have definitely added Daniel to my radar and will continue to watch for books and projects that he turns out.  And, I will continue to share this and his other book, Little Bea and the Snowy Day, with my daughter for years to come.

If you are looking for a book that has it all -- cute story, amazing illustrations and an overall great family read, then check out Little Bea today.  You will not be disappointed!
