My Review:

This is my second review from author, Marianne Richmond.  A couple of weeks ago, I reviewed one of her other books, Beautiful Blue Eyes.  If you missed my review, click here to read it now.

I was so excited to have been sent another book from Marianne, as Savannah and I just loved her other book.  What I loved about most about this cute goodnight book was its rhyming phrases.  Here is an example of what I am talking about:

"Night night sandbox/ and shiny slide./ Night night wagon/ with bumpy ride!/ Night night puzzles,/ books, and toys./ Night night friends,/ girls and boys."

This will be a great book to read to Savannah and use as one of the first books she learns to read.

The illustrations were beautiful an captured each goodnight saying so beautiful.  If you love the other classic bedtime book, Goodnight Moon, then you will definitely love The Night Night Book.  The only difference is that this book follows a young boy, as he says goodnight to all his personal belongings and things around the house.

Your children will want you to read this story over and over again -- it is that much fun to read.
