Tech Talk -- Great Apps for Babies and Young Children -- Includes a GIVEAWAY

As some of you have read, my daughter, Savannah, just loves playing with her Daddy's iPad.  I have a cool pillow protector created from a mom entrepreneur, I will be sharing with in 2 weeks, but wanted to share a few of Savannah's favorite apps with you now.

The following 3 apps are from KIBOOMU and recommended for children ages: 1-3,4-7 yrs. old.  Kiboomu Publishing is a member of Moms with Apps, a collaborative group of family-friendly developers seeking to promote quality apps for kids and families.

The first app is the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Piano app --  Buy it for only $.99 today at the iTunes store.

Savannah just loves this app.  She taps the screen when the keys light up, and we sing along to the song.  This is a great learning tool, to introduce your children to music appreciation.  Who knows, you may even have a piano player on your hands.  You have the option of recording your child playing the song, or follow along, learning the appropriate keys to press.  It is easy to use and will provide hours of enjoyment for your little ones.  And, the music/song is not annoying, like some of the musical toys out there.  So, you will not mind your child playing the song over and over again.

The second app, is the Old MacDonald Piano iPhone App -- Buy it now at half price, only $.99 at the iTunes store

This app has been featured on Huffington Post, iPhone Life Magazine,, iLounge, etc., so that let's you know that it is a great app to get for your children.

Toddlers and preschoolers love to tap a tune on a piano —and Old MacDonald Piano opens up a world of fun while encouraging fine motor skills.

All your child has to do is press the piano keys and sing along to the Old MacDonald Song:

♫ Features four ways to play: Letter, Karaoke and 2 Music learning modes.
♫ Explore learning with each song & piano mode
♫ Watch the piano keys light up one by one
♫ Introduces animal and instrument sounds
♫ Hear the song played on a banjo, xylophone, harp, flute, bells and more!
♫ Records children singing and playing the piano!

Playing the piano is not just fun, it's educational too!

Research has shown that piano lessons:

1.Help Children in School
2.Raise Self Esteem.
3.Increase Coordination
4.Help Children to Concentrate
5.Help Children to be Well-Rounded

Why not buy this app today, and bring out the piano player in them!

The third app  by Kiboomu is the ABC Song Piano app (for use with iPhone/iPod/iPad)  -- It is also only $.99 for a limited time through the iTunes Store.

The ABC Piano App is a great and fun way for your toddler or preschooler to learn the alphabet with this perfectly paced sing-along ABC Song! This interactive app encourages children to take a more active role in learning! It’s also a really fun way to introduce children to playing the piano!  Savannah just loves tapping the screen and following along, as the ABC song is being played.  I know that not only is she having fun, but she is learning in the process.  And, this app will grow will her, as she gets older and begins to comprehend the ABC more.
