BRAND-NEW ‘TICKETY TOC’ DVD,
‘CHRISTMAS PRESENT TIME,’ TO DELIVER FESTIVE ADVENTURES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Seasonal Fun from Hit Nick Jr. ® TV Series Comes Home for the Holidays in
Newest Release from Anchor Bay Entertainment – October 14, 2014

How did you spend your weekend?  For us, we were celebrating Bella's 3rd birthday, which was yesterday.  How is it that kid's get to celebrate their birthdays all week long and us parents are lucky if we take a few extra moments to breath for ourselves on ours.  My birthday was Nov. 2nd, and I was busy prepping for Bella's upcoming birthday week -- go figure!  :-)

I ended up cooking up Bella's favorite meals for the week, going out to eat to a couple of her favorite restaurants, taking the girls to play at the playground, as well as taking in a few local attractions that are still open (stinks for fall/winter birthdays as most outdoor attractions are closed or too cold to enjoy).  We also spent a lot of cuddle time on the couch watching some of Bella's favorite movies, including a few new and upcoming releases I was sent to review, while looking at the Christmas tree all lit up.  Yes, you read that right!  Bella asked as part of her birthday week to put the tree up, so this is what we did on Saturday.  Now, if only the girls would just leave the ornaments on the tree and look at them. Ahh, in time I guess. :-)

One movie that we ended up watching a handful of times, and that I almost have all the lines down to is Tickety Toc: "Christmas Present Time," which arrived on DVD on October 14th.  Are your little ones fans of this hit animated series, which airs on Nick Jr.?  Both of my girls can't get enough of the show, and have to shout the catchy theme song at the top of their lungs whenever it is on.  In addition to board games and books, the girls have a nice little Tickety Toc DVD collection going, with this new DVD being another must watch (over and over again), like the others in the collection.

This new Tickety Toc DVD will surely get your children into the holiday spirit with the five festive winter-themed episodes.  In addition to the five episodes, each DVD also comes with bonus coloring sheets.  And, for a limited time, when you purchase the new Tickety Toc: Christmas Present Time DVD, you can get a FREE Tickety Toc book, “Welcome to Tickety Town,” from Scholastic -- so, be sure to check the DVD for more info on this special FREE BOOK offer and save your receipt.

Here is more about this recent holiday DVD release from Anchor Bay Entertainment...

Synopsis:

In “Christmas Present Time” (SRP: $14.98), it’s Christmas time in Tickety Town and Tommy and Tallulah are determined to make every merry second count! This all-new collection of seasonal adventures – including the Christmas Present Time extended special – brings viewers along as the twins find a new way to make snow, build a giant igloo, roll the biggest snowball ever and even help Santa fix his sleigh in time for Christmas Eve. But when their zany escapades get out of hand, the twins look to their friends, McCoggins, Pufferty, Madame Au Lait and Tooteroo, to help them make things right!

Episodes include:
·         Christmas Present Time
·         Winter Time
·         Snow Time
·         Igloo Time
·         Leaf Sweeping Time

DVD Bonus Features:
·         Coloring Pages

The all-new “Christmas Present Time” DVD is the gift that keeps on giving for young fans; families who purchase the new title can receive a free Tickety Toc book, “Welcome to Tickety Town,” from Scholastic! And to help spread even more Tickety Toc cheer this season, Anchor Bay Entertainment is partnering with Pik-Nik for a delicious national cross-promotion. Beginning in October, more than 100,000 Pik-Nik French Fried Onion canisters will include an on-pack call-out promoting “Christmas Present Time” and a special mail-in-rebate offer.

Tickety Toc follows the everyday adventures of 6-year-old twins, Tommy and Tallulah. Traveling through the special Tickety Toc clock, where the twins live, audiences enter a CGI world of eclectic characters as they tag along on exciting escapades filled with slapstick surprises. Tommy and Tallulah’s strong “can do” spirit often produces an unanticipated outcome, but their individual approach to sticky situations and joint resourcefulness always shine through and save the day! Through the twins’ madcap adventures, Tickety Toc explores teamwork, social responsibility and problem solving – important concepts for preschoolers as they learn and grow. Tickety Toc has quickly become a top performing afternoon show on Nick Jr. (Nielsen) and has been picked up for a second season."

----

It is hard to say which of the five Tickety Toc episodes were my girls' favorite, as we watched them all (all 68 minutes) a few times already.  We attempted to watch it while putting up the Christmas tree instead of listening to holiday music, but they kept stopping to watch the television instead of putting the ornaments on the tree.  So, while they watched their episodes, I got the tree ready, so that we could watch the DVD again, as I had missed it while putting up the tree. :-)

If you have a Tickety Toc fan in your house, this recent DVD release would make for a great stocking stuffer idea, or DVD to share prior to the holidays, to get your little ones excited about the upcoming season.  And, just like with my girls, it will be watched over and over again, and be added to your child's growing Tickety Toc DVD collection, for future enjoyment. :-)

--GIVEAWAY--

Thanks to the kind folks at Anchor Bay Entertainment, one lucky reader will win a copy of this recent DVD release to share with that special Tickety Toc fan in your life.  To enter, please complete the entries on the Rafflecopter form below.  Good luck!
