Synopsis:

"Puppies; they’re cute, they’re cuddly, and they take center stage in the new fun-filled DVD “Martha Speaks: Puppies! Puppies! Two of the stories featured on this DVD are “The Puppy Tooth Fairy” and “Martha’s Puppy.” In “The Puppy Tooth Fairy,” Martha and Skits bound boldly into the night dressed up as the Puppy Tooth Fairies after Martha is hit with a stark realization: the Tooth Fairy doesn’t like dogs. In “Martha’s Puppy,” Martha feels it’s high time to get a puppy, but the family disagrees. With no other option, Martha sets out to do what any dog would: train a baby to become a puppy. More than 7.7M households tune in to watch “MARTHA SPEAKS” each month.*"

My Thoughts:

My niece and nephew turned my girls onto this cute show about a dog named Martha, who loves to eat, and accidentally ate a bowl of alphabet soup.  And, guess what happened?  She started to talk, and hasn't stopped.  Each fun-filled episode follows Martha and her friends on different adventures.  Along the way, Martha teaches little ones 10 new words in each episode.  What a great way for young viewers to build their vocabulary, while watching an entertaining show.  If you aren't one of the 7.7 million who tune in to watch Martha Speaks and have little ones, you really should give it a try.  Or, pick up a copy of this new DVD and see what you have been missing.  In addition to the above episodes, this DVD also offers printable material for parents, as well as cute coloring sheets and activities the kids will go crazy for.  Right now, our refrigerator is covered with Martha Speaks coloring pages, from an afternoon of coloring fun! :-)
