This is not the first time I have tried a Thermal-Aid product.  Back in 2012, I featured their neck wrap as part of my Mother's Day gift guide.  I have shared that due to my cancer treatment, I have been left with daily pain in my neck and shoulders.  Plus, having to carry around and deal with two toddlers on a daily basis, can leave my neck, shoulders, and even back sore by the end of the day.  I raved about the neck wrap then, and still use it to this day, with great results.   The only difference between the neck wrap I reviewed and this new Headache Relief System, is that this kit comes with a headache relief cream, you apply directly to your temples and forehead before resting the Thermal-Aid cold Eye Pack on.

Upon applying the cream and then the cold pack, I was impressed with the fact that the cold eye pack kept out the light -- which doesn't help when you have a pounding headache.  I could also feel slight pressure around the temple and forehead area, which you can't get with simply draping a cold facecloth over your eyes/face.  I laid down to let the Thermal-Aid headache relief system work.  The next thing I knew, I woke up feeling refreshed and...without a headache.  :-)  I couldn't believe it, as I had been trying to get rid of this migraine headache for almost a week.  And, it only took less than a half hour to fall asleep and wake up without the headache, just by simply using the new Thermal-Aid Headache Relief System.  I didn't want to take this as a cure all for my headaches, as I only tried it once.  So, I would have to wait until another headache come on to try it again.
