Do you frequent the deal sites along?  How about the ones that offer deep discounts of clothing and accessories for the entire family?  I used to buy a lot of the girls' clothes off of the baby sites when they were little.  And, as for me, well you know that if you are a mom, you usually put yourself last after your family, so I haven't been splurging and buying myself clothes, since we welcomed the girls.  And, pajamas and lounge pants have been my friend since becoming a stay at home mom.  But, I have to admit, now that I am finally almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight after dieting this entire year, it feels good to fit back into old jeans and tops.

So, as a mini reward for almost hitting my target weight loss goal, I spent a few hours tonight browsing the Modnique website?  Not familiar with this site?  Click here to watch a quick video about the Modnique website --  http://www.abc15.com/dpp/money/consumer/smart_shopper/Save-money-on-high-end-designer-clothes-accessories-and-home-decor-at-Modniquecom.

Unlike many of the other clothing deal sites, Modnique offers amazing deals on items for men, women and children, and most items ship within 24 hrs.  And, if you spend $99+, shipping is always FREE. Being a busy mom on the go, I like being able to visit website that offer one stop shopping for things like clothes, beauty products, shoes, handbags, home decor and more.  When I am done shopping for the kids and my husband, I always like to peek at the current styles and clothes offering for women -- so Modnique has been my site of choice to save $$$, while picking up clothes for the kids and my husband.  I always seem to find great deals either with their set pricing, or through their "Make An Offer" option.  The  "Make An Offer," name your price feature is something that I haven't seen on other deal sites, but love.  I always seem to be able to get a deal on clothes I want to buy at the price I am willing to buy.  When I make an offer, it reminds me of summer trips to NYC, where my husband and I would hit up the outdoor markets, and vendors would ask me to name a price for handbags, scarves and clothing.  There is a rush you get when you name a price and the vendor accepts it.  And, when you find yourself saving 70%+ on a particular item, you feel even better knowing you are getting something your really wanted, while keeping money in your pocket.

After browsing the Modnique site, I ended up picking up the following three items for a total of $$89.00

I used the "Make an Offer" feature and was able to get this jacket for only $31.00.

I couldn't decide on the other color, so I picked up one in black and one in khaki. :-)

Because I didn't spend $99, I ended up paying $6.97 for shipping, which is really cheap compared to the other clothing deal sites, that get you on shipping costs.  I also was able to "Make an Offer" on the jacket, and saved a few more dollars. INSERT HAPPY DANCE WHILE GRINNING HERE. :-)  I have to tell you, it was hard at first to keep my focus on finding something for me, as I kept wanting to click on the men's or kid's tabs.  But, once I started adding items into my cart, and browsing the current women's sales, I couldn't help but feel like I deserved to be treated.  I am especially excited about the Marvin Richards Detachable Hooded Faux Fur Lined Jacket coat I purchases, as I will finally be able to update my winter coat this season to something more stylish.  I have been using the same winter coat that I purchased a few years back.  It wasn't something I wanted at the time, but was affordable and served the purpose.  Each year since, when winter rolled around, I would dread pulling it out of storage to wash and get ready for wearing.  Oh, how I wished for a new coat.  But, every time I would go to the store, I would find myself picking outfits up for the girls, or buying my husband undergarments or sweaters for work -- always forgetting to look at the winter coats for me.  But, finally this year, I will be able to say goodbye to my old coat, and go out the kids with my new coat, fancy Italian pants, and feel like a million bucks -- even though I spent less than $100 on the three pieces. :-)

Shh, don't tell my husband, but I will be making a point to check the daily sales for now on for myself from Modnique.  After spending time tonight, I found myself being drawn to the different international brands, like Replay, De Flores Y Floreros. Made in Spain, Extasy, Charlotte & Louis, Moncler and La Nouvelle, as well as the premium brands including the ever popular Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, Nine West, Diesel, Prada, Robert Cavalli, Tory Burch and even Stylemax, just to name a few.  I love seeing sales starting in the $20 range, as I feel I can get a few items and not break the bank.  I will not lie, there were a few jackets I liked that were $150+, but I didn't see spending this much money on a coat that the girls would get dirty with their sticky figures, or even worse spit up.  Bella has a sensitive gag reflux, and if excited or she is coughing too much, she oftentimes vomits -- usually when we are out and about and I am carrying her.  So, I have learned to dress accordingly, and in layers, as not to ruin fancy outfits, etc.   Ahh, the joys of being a mom.  But, you know what...I wouldn't change it for the world. :-)

Have you started your holiday shopping yet?  If not, why not make Modnique your first stop?  Right now, they are running a fun "20 Days of Deals" promotion, where every morning at 6AM PST, they reveal new deals.  The deals are so great, that they oftentimes sell out fast!  Just the other day, I saw them selling the iPad mini for only $99, whereas other stores are selling the same one for $279+.  You can imagine how quickly this deal was bought.  Within a few minutes of announcing the sale and before I could get one in my basket, it was sold out.  But, I am hoping to snag another great deal on products like this with Modnique's "20 Days of Deals" promotion, and will continue to check back each morning to see if I can score a great gift for family and friends, and even myself. :-) If you want to keep track on each day's deals, you can either visit the Modnique site daily at http://pages.modnique.com/holiday/. the the Modnique blog at http://editorial.modnique.com/, or the Modnique Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/modnique. Some of the deals will feature crossbody bags, Beats by Dre earphones and even iPad minis.

Hopefully you will find some great deals on gifts for the entire family when shopping these deals, as well as other sales at Modnique.  And, please, take time this holiday season and treat yourself to a new outfit, or jacket like I did.  Like I said in the beginning of my post, us moms always put ourselves last, and never really do something nice like picking out a new outfit for ourselves.  But, as I was shopping for myself, it felt good to treat myself.  Now, I just have to wait for my jacket and pants to arrive, to enjoy them.
