My Thoughts:

The folks at Campbell sent me their Creamy Chipotle, Marsala, Toasted Sesame and Thai Green Curry Skillet Sauces to try out with my family.  As a busy mom on the go, the last thing I want to stress out about is what to make for dinner.  And, there are some nights I don't want to or have time to spend 30+ minutes prepping and cooking a meal.  So, when I heard that Campbell has come out with these new Skillet Sauces pouches recently, I couldn't wait to give them a try.

Last night I decided to make Chicken Marsala with one of these Skillet Sauces pouches.  What I loved off the bat with these new pouches is that you don't have to be a master chef to whip up a great tasting meal, thanks to Campbell's new sauces.  I have made chicken marsala in the past, but found it was too time consuming and at times didn't come out well if I didn't let the marsala wine reduce enough.  But, with the Marsala Skillet Sauce pouch from Campbell, I had chicken marsala cooked and on the table for all to enjoy in less than 15 minutes -- and, it only took the three steps listed above.  Now, how is that for convenience?  So, how did it taste?  Let's just say that this chicken marsala dish put some of the ones I had eaten in the past from fine dining establishments to shame.  The thick sauce was so flavorful, and really added flavor to a plain chicken breast.  I ended up serving it over penne pasta, and found that both my husband and I reached for seconds at the same time.  Note that one skillet sauce pouches can be used with 3 skinless chicken breasts.  So, if you expect to offer seconds or feed more than 2-3 people, you will want to buy a couple pouches and additional chicken breast.  We ended up cutting the chicken breast in half and sharing it, leaving no leftovers. :-)

I have plans to try out the Thai Green Curry skillet sauce packet tonight when my parents come for the long holiday weekend.  They are fans of curry dishes, and I want to show them that you don't have to spend hours in the kitchen prepping and cooking, to have an authentic tasting curry dish with white rice on the table.  I know they will be amazed not only at the delicious taste, but that it will take me around 15 minutes to make.

So, if you are looking for shortcuts to help making your dinner time meals easier, while not sacrificing on taste, then why not give Campbell's new Skillet Sauces a try today?  They have made my life so much easier, and my family loves the flavors of these sauces packets.  If they didn't know I was using these Skillet Sauces, they would think I spent all afternoon preparing these meals. :-)   For more information and “Skillet Suggestions ” for preparing and serving your meals with these new Skillet Sauces, please visit www.CampbellSauces.com.
