Don't Miss the April Stock Up and Save Event at Walmart - Get Everyday Essentials for Less #StockUpSave #ad @Walmart @SheSpeaksUp

Disclosure:  This is a sponsored post for SheSpeaks/Walmart.  All views are mine and mine alone.

When you stock up to get everyday essentials for less, you won’t run out when you need something most.

The April Stock Up & Save Event  is in full swing right now, with top brands like Tide, Bounty, Pampers, Venus, Gillette, and more all on sale and ready for you to stock up and save!
I was getting concerned that Mother Nature didn't know it was spring here in New England, when we got hit with 5 inches of snow a couple weeks ago.  After a week of temps in the high 50's I was all ready for spring, and had the windows open to air out the stale winter air in our home.  I was also building up for my annual spring cleaning of the house, which always includes a visit to Walmart to stock up on spring cleaning essentials.  I can always count on Walmart for offering everyday essentials for less.  And, when the price is right I will stock up and add to my growing stockpile in the basement, as not to run out of things like paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo and conditioner.

With two little ones 5 and under, the last thing I want to do is load them into the car and take them shopping.  usually a trip to the store turns into an all-day venture, where I usually return with items not only my shopping list and missing the most important essentials I went to the store for in the first place.  The girls see a store and instantly think new toys.  I think, "how can I navigate the store and grab what I really need, without going near the toy section and getting out in record time."  :-)  But, my thought process never works.  So, when it comes to stocking up on things like spring time essentials which are usually bulky and take up shopping cart space already used by two little ones, I shop at home in my pj's and slippers and wait for my order to arrive at my door. :-)  I am so thankful for online shopping at Walmart and their special annual events like their April stock up and Save one, as I get to stock up on my everyday essentials and those needed for my spring cleaning and not have to worry or stress about a visit to the store with my girls.

Last week I took advantage of the April Stock Up and Save event at Walmart.  Prior to ordering online I took inventory of my current stockpile to see what I could replenish and then checked under the kitchen sink to see what cleaning products I needed for spring cleaning.  Then, while the girls were sleeping at night, I logged on and in under 10 minutes I had my order placed and paid for.  I didn't have to battle check out lines, fussy and inpatient little ones and got everything on my shopping list.  It was great.  And, then a few days later, my Walmart box arrived at my door.  I don't think it could get more convenient than that.

Not only was I able to shop with ease for everyday essentials, but I saved a ton thanks to Walmart's Stock Up and Save event.  In addition, I used my Ibotto Rewards app on my phone to submit my receipt and save even more. :-)  So, it was a win-win!

If saving at Walmart with their low prices wasn't enough, make sure you add the Ibotta Rewards app to your phone so you can save even more.
Start saving (beginning April 11th) by logging in to the Ibotta app and checking out rewards from P&G.

And, now that the snow from the fluke snow storm we had 2 weeks ago is gone, I am ready to tackle my spring cleaning.  Just last week I donated 16 boxes of toys and clothing to Goodwill.  It felt good to donate, but I am more happy to see extra empty space around the house.  Once the house is ready for spring/summer I will be looking at Walmart to stock up on summer essentials so that my family can enjoy time outdoors, making memories, enjoying the warm temperatures and spending time with family and friends.  I can always count on Walmart to offer products my family needs for any and all occasions, while also saving me $$$.

Spring is finally here... why not take advantage of the nicer weather by tackling your spring cleaner so that once the really warm weather is here you can get out and enjoy it with your family and not have to worry about tidying up the house? Take advantage of the April Stock Up and Save Event at Walmart by shopping for these select products in-store or online at StockUpSave.com...
Not only will it feel good to have a cleaner house, hopefully a little less cluttered, but you will smile when you see how much you save by purchasing some (or all) of of the above Stock Up and Save participating products. Remember there is added value — and savings — in stocking up.  So, what are you waiting for?  Let P&G and Walmart help you save today!  And, don't forget to reward yourself with Ibotta rewards when you stock up.  Right now you will find rewards from P&G with the Ibotta app for extra savings during the Stock Up and Save event at Walmart.

FYI...If you’re afraid of missing out on this event, you can “attend” the April Stock Up & Save Event on Facebook to learn more information and get reminders throughout the month.

Fans of Miranda Lambert Will Love the New Platinum Points Program from CRYSTAL LIGHT - Buy, Earn and Score Cool Ran Swag! #CrystalLightWM #RanFan #MC #sponsored

Disclosure: I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Mom Central for CRYSTAL LIGHT. I received a gift card to purchase CRYSTAL LIGHT products to facilitate my review as well as a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

CRYSTAL LIGHT and Miranda Lambert have partnered to bring you a fantastic way to earn rewards when you buy CRYSTAL LIGHT products,Platinum Points!

Banner Eight

Even though my birthday is not until Sunday, my husband surprised me this evening with news that he bought me tickets to Miranda Lambert's upcoming Certified Platinum Tour, which will be stopping by the DCU Center in Worcester, MA on April 10th of next year. Joining Miranda on her new tour will be Justin Moore, Ashley Monroe and Jukebox Mafia.  Even though the concert is about 6 months away, I am already getting excited about, as I have been talking non-stop about how great a show this would be and how I would love to go, ever since hearing of her new tour.

I have be a Ran fan (this is what Miranda Lambert fan club members are called) from day 1, when she competed on Nashville Star, a music competition that pinned Miranda against other country music hopefuls.  As soon as I heard Miranda sing, I knew she was destined for great things.  And, now, years later, she is selling out music venues, is married to another powerhouse country star, Blake Shelton, and tops the country music charts with each and every song that hits the radio waves.  She truly is a force to be reckoned with in country music and seems to get better with each record release.

Are you a Ran fan?  If you are, do you happen to purchase and drink CRYSTAL LIGHT products?  The reason I ask, is that CRYSTAL LIGHT and Miranda Lambert have teamed with a fun Platinum Points program, where fans of Miranda's who buy participating CRYSTAL LIGHT products at Walmart can scan their receipts and earn rewards points for your purchased items.  You continue to accumulate points until you are ready to redeem them for cool prizes, like the Miranda Lambert Platinum CD, coffee mug, a Platinum Rhinestone Ladies T-shirt, or even a Miranda Lambert Logo Guitar.

Do you have a favorite CRYSTAL LIGHT product/flavor?

My mom first introduced my brothers and I to this low-calorie, zero-guilt flavored drink mix when your were kids.  Whenever the hot summer months rolled around, she would make us lemonade using CRYSTAL LIGHT.  It wasn't until I wanted to do a lemonade stand and needed to know her secret recipe for making such a tasty, thirst quenching lemonade, that she pulled out a box of CRYSTAL LIGHT.  From that point on, I began trying the other flavors and experimenting with new CRYSTAL LIGHT drink combinations, like lemonade iced tea, to enjoy myself and serve to friends and family.  And, now that I am all grown up and have a family of my own, I continue to serve up fresh chilled lemonade to my girls using CRYSTAL LIGHT, which I keep a supply of in the pantry.  When the girls go to bed, or I am having girlfriends over, I like to also whip up fun alcoholic drinks using CRYSTAL LIGHT, like the “Randarita,” a cocktail inspired by Miranda Lambert (find the recipe here: www.crystallight.com) .

This flavored drink mix can be used in so many ways to create refreshing and guilt-free drinks for kids and adults to enjoy any time of year.  And, now fans of Miranda Lambert and CRYSTAL LIGHT can earn points to redeem for Miranda swag, just for purchasing this flavored drink mix at Walmart.

Just look at the types of rewards available to those who enroll in the FREE CRYSTAL LIGHT Platinum Points program...

100 pts = Miranda Lambert Automatic (Acoustic) Song Download

Walmart's Prices Can't Be Beat -- And, They Will Prove It with Their New Savings Catcher Program #WMTSavingsCatcher #Sponsored

Disclosure: I shopped savvy using Walmart Saving Catcher, as part of a sponsored post for Crowdtap #WMTSavingsCatcher.

Have you ever gone grocery shopping only to find a few days later that items you bought at one store are on sale at another?  If only you looked at all the different weekly circulars and planned your shopping trips - then you could have saved money, right?  Well, if you are like most people, you find yourself spread thin when it comes to work and family, and the last thing you want to do each week is sit down and go through all the different circulars, trying to find the best deals.  Unless you are coupon shopper and strategically plan your shopping trips out, you simply write what you ran out of and what you need each week, before heading to a market or store of your choice, where you can get your whole shopping done.

For me, I have found my local Walmart to be my go-to store for my groceries and home essentials.  It is amazing how their milk and meat prices are so much cheaper than the local grocery stores.  But, there have been a few occasions, that after doing my weekly shopping at Walmart that I have ran to another store during the week to grab something I missed, while out and about running errands, only to find a few items cheaper than what I had paid at Walmart.  I would then find myself saying, "Oh shucks," as I thought of the few dollars I would have saved.  While those few dollars don't seem like much in the grand scheme of things -- but, repeat occasions like this add up over time.  If only there was a service, app, etc. out there that could track all the local competitors and inform you if an item you purchased is on sale elsewhere that week cheaper, and give you the difference.  Well, there is!  It is called the Walmart Savings Catcher program.  Thanks so much for the folks at Crowdtap for sharing this great savings program with me, as I would have been late to the game in saving money. :-)

How does the Walmart Savings Catcher program work and why should you download it, if you are a frequent shopping at Walmart, like me?  Watch this short video to find out...

Well, for starters, there is no enrollment or membership fee, and you have the option of downloading the app to your phone or visiting the Walmart® Savings Catcher website to share your receipt information for price comparisons.

I only heard about Walmart® Savings Catcher recently from Crowdtap, but am already starting to see the savings add up.

With two recent Walmart store visits, my two receipts have been scanned in, and I have been notified within 72 hours of their review of 32 local stores, that an 8 pk. of Coke I bought was cheaper at another store, and this resulted in a credit of $1.50.

While I am not seeing significant differences and savings going into my Walmart Savings Catcher account -- which is a good thing, as it shows that Walmart's pricing is competitive and that they try to provide me with the best possible price -- on those occasions when I could have saved on a item purchase elsewhere, Walmart wants to match that price and will add this savings into my Walmart® Savings Catcher account. Neat, huh?  I love how they take the leg work out of sifting through weekly circulars, trying to plan numerous trips to stores just to try to save a few dollars.  But, if you look at the gas you spend, as well as your time, going from store to store, you really aren't saving.

What would you do with the money you will save as part of the Walmart® Savings Catcher program? As soon as you start accumulating Reward Dollars, you can transfer the amount to your Walmart eGift Card, or wait and let the savings rack up before cashing out your rewards dollars at a later date.   For me, I plan to let the saving add up over time, so that I can use it for last minute holiday gifts for family and friends, and even pick something up for myself. :-)  Want to learn more about the Walmart® Savings Catcher, and sign up so that you can start saving on things you buy all the time at your local Walmart, that may be cheaper elsewhere in a given week?

Visit https://savingscatcher.walmart.com/ now to learn more and sign up today, and get ready to save! :-)

Effortless Meals from Walmart and Coca Cola Are Saving Dinner Time for Busy Families on the Go #EffortlessMeals #Sponsored

Disclosure:  This is a sponsored post in which I was compensated by the vendor in exchange for an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Stop Stressing Over What's For Dinner Tonight --
Let Walmart and Coca Cola Help with their Effortless Meals!

With the school season in full swing, families everywhere are settling into a routine when it comes to getting ready for school, after school activities, sports, etc.  But, boy can juggling everything be stressful.  It wasn't until Savannah started school this year that I was able to see how crazy juggling and moving around everyone's schedules to meet pick up and drop offs, sports, music and more really is.  Hats off to the moms and dads out there have more than one child in school, as it really makes for a busy schedule for everyone.

So, what is for dinner?  Ha, funny you should ask... -- which seems like common phrase in our house lately, as we are still work to adjust to the new school year and create a routine.  For a person who always prided herself on great time management and organizational skills, I seemed to have lost these when I gave birth to my two girls.  Now, I am lucky if I remember to put deodorant on in the AM or brush my hair or teeth.  And, with all the craziness that happens in our house with the girls and school, I oftentimes forget to take something out for dinner, or am just too tired to cook.  What to do on these nights?  For my family, we head to Walmart and take advantage of their take ‘n bake pizzas, fried chicken and sides meals, cold cut subs and more, which make up the "Effortless Meals" available from Coca Cola and Walmart Deli.

It has only been a year since our local Walmart (which is only 5 minutes from our house) upgraded to the Super Walmart where they offer a  grocery section.  When I first heard the news of this transition a few years back, I was so excited and couldn't wait.  Prior to this expansion, we would have to drive about 40 minutes away to shop at a Super Walmart, for deals and savings on home goods, food and more.  And, each and every time we would shop here, my husband I would grab a rotisserie chicken and potato wedges to bring home for dinner.  Unfortunately, the potato wedges usually never make it to the table, as we would snack on them on the way home. :-)

Now whenever I shop for groceries or or are looking for an alternative to drive thru takeout, I know I can count on our local Walmart to offer great family friendly meals at reasonable prices.  On those nights I forget to take something out, or need a quick meal on the table, I know I can run to our Walmart and grab freshly baked bread, chicken (fried or a rotisserie) and a couple of sides or delicious sandwiches and freshly made salads, and be back home and have the table set before my husband gets home.

So, there is no delay in pondering what to order out or having to eat late -- which throws off the whole bedtime routine with the girls.

Has getting a meal on the table been a struggle for you this school year?  Don't feel bad, as you are not alone.  In addition to me, I was not surprised to hear from my girlfriends and many of the moms who attend the weekly mommy and me meet up, that they too struggle with their weekly meal planning.  From unexpected games or after school activities to the kids not feeling well and needing to see the doctor, meal time, which should be a great bonding experience with the family, to talk about the day's happenings, has become another stressful activity to get through on some days.  But, it doesn't have to be...that is, if you know what is available when you are in a pinch or pressed for time.

I know what you are thinking?  Serving Walmart food for dinner?  Well, if you haven't tried their food lately, or at all, you really are missing out.  I love to grab their take ‘n bake pizzas, which cook up in under 30 minutes, and taste better than delivery pizza -- fresher ingredients and not greasy.

I have also found that the cost of a rotisserie chicken is cheaper than other local grocery stores -- and, the birds are much bigger and juicier.

Depending on your family's food preferences, Walmart, along with Coca Cola have you covered when it comes to getting a delicious hot meal on the table for the whole family to enjoy, while talking about their day.

Take back dinner time and truly enjoy time with the family around the table, by picking up an Effortless Meal at Walmart today.  These tasty meals really are a lifesaver! :-)  And, depending on your location, most family sized meals are $10 or less.

And, if you are My Coke Rewards member, you will be excited to know that you can earn more points just by entering the UPC code from Walmart Meals Deals to receive 10 bonus points, each and every time you grab an Effortless Meal from Walmart.  Click here to learn more about this MCR offer. :-)

My Coke Rewards®

So, if you find yourself dreading dinner time due to lack of planning or just being stressed from those crazy days we all have, why not let Walmart and their Effortless Meals save the day, and give you a little breather.

Your family, like mine, will love the quality of the food and the selection.

Recreate Rocking Hairstyles Seen on Celebs During This Year's VMA's with These Easy to Follow Styling Videos and TRESemmé Hair Care Products #Sponsored

Disclosure:  This is sponsored post for Global Influence, in which I will be compensated for my time.  However, all views shared are mine and mine alone.

This weekend included a couple of firsts, for both my girls and myself.  On Saturday, the girls got their first haircuts.  It has been a long time coming, and finally they and Daddy came around and realized it was time to cut their hair -- besides the bangs, which I or Nana would trim, so that they could see.  And, I have to say, the girls look so cute -- and grown up.

Where did my little girls go?  If only I could slow down time.  In addition to the girls getting their haircut, I let the girls give me a little makeover, like my mom would let me do when I was little and brothers' and dad would have a boys night out.   The girls gave me colored tips to my hair, thanks to hair paints we picked up for Halloween this year. Although, I don't think they will have careers as hairdressers, they did have a blast making Mommy look like a "rock star" -- Savannah's words, not mine! :-)

When it comes to amping up your hairstyle to look like a rock star, what do you like to do?  Do you go all out and get your hair chopped off, or change the color altogether?  Or, are you more subtle in the changes, maybe adding highlights or frosting the tips, while still feeling like you have changed up your look.  Even though I was able to wash out the hair paint the girls had applied all over, I did have fun feeling hip and younger for a short time, as I have seen the likes of Katy Perry, Demi Lovato and other young musicians rocking colored hair lately, and my girls thought they looked like rock stars with it -- hence, Savannah's request for pink in her hair for Halloween this year. :-)

You don't have to go as crazy as I did with a rainbow of colors in your hair to look or feel like a rock star.  Instead, you can head to your local Walmart store and pick up Tresemme products to turn your drab, flat hair into salon gorgeous hair, like you probably saw on tonight's VMA awards -- if the kids were kind enough to go to bed on time so that you could catch the live show or repeat right after. :-)

Not only will Tresemme hair care products breath new life into your hair, but you can also find great styling videos, as well as more info on TRESemme products available at Walmart by visiting TRESemme VMA.

Being a mom on the go, with limited time to get ready in the AM, I am always looking for quick and easy ways to change up my look.  And, it seems like doing a little something different to my hair works well with the time I have.  I having been rocking the low ponytail since watching the easy styling video the other day, and have to say I like it.

It is easy to do, and with the help of TRESemmé Keratin Serum , I am able to tame flyaways and frizzy hair, for a sleek look, that works when on the go with the kids, or even for a evening out with my husband (when this happens).  My husband even commented on how nice my hair looked after seeing it, and was surprised it only took a few minutes to do. :-)

TRESemmé invites you to amp up your VMA style with 5 red carpet worthy looks, including the low pony, which I have been rocking.  The pumped up pony, super sleek look, rock ‘n roll waves, or full blown volume will have you shining like a star.  And, best of all...these hairstyles can be achieved in a few simple steps, and with the help of TRESemmé products. :-)  So, what are waiting for?  Visit the  TRESemme VMA to watch these styling tutorials now.

First Impressions Count! -- when it comes to interviewing for a job, going on a first date, or merely meeting new people.  When it comes to these types of first encounters, what do you know to prepare yourself to put your best foot forward?  When it came to interview for jobs out of college, I made a point to dress for the job I was applying for, as well as studying up in advance of the interview about the company and job, so that I make the best impression possible.  Event though it has been years since I interviewed for a job, I recently found myself feeling the same "first impression" jitters when joining different "Mommy and Me" meetups, and attending group activities with my girls.  You would think that making friends would be easy, especially when you get older. I don't know about you, but I find it more difficult.  You want to impress people, while also not losing sight of who you really are, as you hope people will like you.  I remember meeting new people with my husband when we moved to CT. I found myself with sweaty palms and clamming up when asked about my hobbies, likes, etc., just like I had experienced during job interviews years early.  And, now, 10+ years later, I am back at it, trying to make the best first impression, as I connect and build relationships with other moms, to not only benefit the social development of my girls, but also gain new mommy friends I can turn to for parenting advice or just to have an adult conversation with.  Do you have tips you could share about making the best first impression, as it relates to applying for a job, meeting new people, etc.?  Please share them in the comment section below.

When you are done sharing your tips, make sure you head on over to Walmart to enter the Walmart AXE Hair - The Greatest Place to Work Sweepstakes, inspired by the DVD release of the movie, The Internship, which stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.  This is one movie my husband and I got to see in theaters, and we couldn't stop laughing.  We both left the theater wishing we worked at Google as an intern or employee, as it looked like the best place to work.
