Keep the Toilet Bowl Clean and Fresh Smelling with the New 4-in-1 Toilet Care from Soft Scrub ( Review and #Giveaway )

I am getting so much spring cleaning done because of reviews I have been doing as a Purex Insider.  When I am not reviewing new laundry detergents, I am getting a chance to try out new household cleaners like Soft Scrub.  Over the past couple of weeks, I have been sharing my love for these products, and giving readers a chance to win FREE PRODUCT coupons.  :-)  And, just last week, I received the new Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care with Bleach to review. 

Usually I am not a fan of products containing bleach, as they don't smell that good.  But, I thought I would give this product a try and see how it works in one of the most highly trafficked areas in the house. :-)  The first thing that I noticed and was impressed by was now this over-the-toilet bowl rim hanger actually stayed in place.  I have tried other products over the years, to be disappointed that either it would fit my standard toilet bowl rim or would not stay put and fall off.  And, if these hangers did stay put, their contents would dissolve too quickly or not do a good job at cleaning the toilet bowl.  Knowing this, I wasn't expecting much from the new Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care product, even though I am a fan of the Soft Scrub brand.

It has been over a week now since I received and have been using this toilet bowl rim hanger, and I have to say that I am impressed.  Not only does it keep the inside of the toilet bowl clean with each flush, but with the bleach added, you don't smell any foul odors, as the bowl looks and smells fresh.  You would never know that the cleaner contained bleach, as it is not strong at all.

Overall, I am impressed yet again with another product from Soft Scrub, and plan to pick up more of these for our other bathrooms.  Note that each Soft Scrub 4-in-1 Toilet Care product lasts up to 4 weeks, and costs around $2.00.  I saw these at Walmart the other day, but wanted to wait to try this sample out for the week, before stocking up.  But, this upcoming weekend, I will definitely be stopping by Walmart to buy more.

Introducing the New Soft Scrub Advanced Surface All-Purpose Cleaner (Review and #Giveaway)

Maybe it is Spring cleaning fever setting in, or I am just tired of seeing the snow outside and want the springs/summer to get here already.  But, I have been spending my free moments cleaning and organizing the house, and using new cleaning products in the process.  One new product that I was recently sent to review and love is Soft Scrub Advanced Surface.  This all-purpose cleaner can be used on granite, stainless steal, kitchen areas and even in the bathroom.  And, unlike other all-purpose cleaners, this really does get rid of tough stains, while not ruining delicate surfaces. 

Soft Scrub Advanced Surface is a rinse-free gel that can be applied and then wiped away with a sponge, cloth or paper towel.  Even though I have used this new all-purpose cleaner throughout the house, I seem to find myself reaching for it more and more when trying to tackle grease spots in the kitchen and icky grime in the bathroom.  A little does really go a long way when using this gel

Do you find yourself using cleaning products from brands that you grew up watching your Mom use?  I always laugh when my Mom comes to visit and says, "Oh, you also use so and so", or "I used to use that when you were litte," as I still remember telling myself that I would not do the same things she did when I got older.  Well, I was wrong on this account, for many things, including cleaning products.  I guess having seen her use brands like Soft Scrub, I have grown accustomed to knowing that they this brand really does get the job done when cleaning.  So, whenever I am shopping for cleaning products, my eyes always gravitate to familiar products/brands I remember seeing my use.  And, one of these brands was Soft Scrub, which she still uses today.

But, for the first time, when she came to visit last week, she said, "wow, I have never seen that product," referring to the new Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath and Kitchen Cleanser.  I had received the new lemon scent cleanser, as part of the Purex Insiders program, and couldn't wait to show it to her.  Usually when I have family and friends visiting, I postpone my weekend cleaning to spend time with them. But, this time, I wanted to put this new product to the test and see how it worked in cleaning the bath and kitchen surfaces. 

My mom followed along as I began my cleaning.  She, too, wanted to see if this new cleanser would be able to tackle tough stains and grime.  And, the verdict is in -- it did.  The new Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath and Kitchen Cleanser passed with flying colors, and was approved by mother and daughter. :-)  The best feature of this cleanser was that you didn't need to use much elbow grease to clean surfaces, especially bathroom tile and toilets. Not only were the surfaces in both the kitchen and bath, that were cleaned with this new cleanser sparkling, but they smelled of a light lemon scent.

I will definitely be buying more of this cleanser and know someone else who will stock up, too.  And, when other family and friends ask how I get my kitchen and bathroom surfaces so clean, I will not hesitate and tell them I used Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath and Kitchen Cleanser. :-)

Soft Scrub Introduces New Line of Cleaning Products (Review, Flash Giveaway and Sweepstakes Announcement)

I am very picky when it comes to household cleaning products I bring into my home and use, not only as a cancer survivor, but also as a mom to two young children.  There has been one product, however, that I don't hesitate to pick up when at the grocery store, and that is Soft Scrub.  I grew up with my mother using this product to clean our bathroom, and continued to use it when I was on my own.  

Recently, Soft Scrub introduced three new household cleaners to ever popular line, including Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaner with Bleach, Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Cleaner and the Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath and Bowl.  Now, I would not usually be excited to clean the bathroom, but I have to admit, I couldn't wait to try out these new products. I was sent the All Purpose Cleaner with Bleach, along with Soft Scrub Total All Purpose Bath and Bowl to try out in my home.

What caught my eye right off the bat as the unique design of the bottles, and how they actually worked upside down. This is one of my pet peeves when cleaning.  You try and spray the underside of the toilet bowl, only to have the sprayer not work. But, with this new bottle, you don't have to worry, stop and shake, etc.  It works like a charm.  

As for how well these new products clean the bathroom and other areas of the house, I have to give them 5 stars.  They removed the soap scum and sticky residue left by my daughters' foaming bath soaps and bubble baths, which I usually have a hard time removing completely.  And, by the time I was done putting each of the cleanings to the test, my bathroom was sparkling from floor to ceiling, including the toilet bowls. :-)
