RALPH BREAKS THE INTERNET -- Coming to Digital on Feb. 12, and Blu-Ray on Feb. 26

Soon Trending: Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Latest In-Home Release
Disney’s “Ralph Breaks the Internet”
Access Granted on Digital 4K Ultra HD™ and Movies Anywhere on Feb. 12 and 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray™ on Feb. 26

Fans can browse exclusive extras revealing the creation of the film’s eye-popping internet
and its off-the-wall content, deleted scenes, hidden Easter eggs and much more!

"Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” the animated adventure featuring video-game bad guy Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman), raced to No. 1 opening weekend (the second biggest Thanksgiving opening of all time), winning the top spot at the domestic box office for three consistent weeks and grossing more than $435.1 million to date. In the hilarious, highspeed sequel to 2012’s Oscar®-nominated “Wreck-It Ralph,” the besties risk it all by traveling to the expansive, fast-paced world of the internet in an action-packed attempt to save Vanellope’s game Sugar Rush. “Ralph Breaks the Internet” is available instantly on Digital 4K Ultra HD™/HD/SD and Movies Anywhere Feb. 12 and physically on Blu-ray and DVD Feb. 26.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet” arrives home with a wide-range of exclusive extras, taking fans behind the scenes at Walt Disney Animation Studios to explore how artists created the film’s vibrant version of the internet — from comical cat videos to the intense online game Slaughter Race to shady characters on the Dark Net. Features also reveal some Easter eggs — inside jokes and references to other Disney films and characters hidden throughout the film — and filmmakers introduce some never before revealed deleted scenes.

Directed by Rich Moore (Academy Award Ò-winning “Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph”) and Phil Johnston (co-writer “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Zootopia,” writer, “Cedar Rapids”), and produced by Clark Spencer (“Zootopia,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Bolt,” “Lilo & Stitch”), “Ralph Breaks the Internet” welcomes back favorite cast and characters introduced six years ago, including Reilly, who provides the voice of Ralph, and Silverman, who returns as the voice of Vanellope. Lending a virtual hand to Ralph and Vanellope is Shank, voiced by Gal Gadot, a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces — so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had. Yesss, voiced by Taraji P. Henson, the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site BuzzzTube, makes Ralph a viral sensation. Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch return as the voices of Fix-It Felix Jr. and Sergeant Calhoun, respectively, and Disney Animation’s good luck charm, actor Alan Tudyk was called on to voice a search engine named KnowsMore — literally a know-it-all — who runs a search bar and helps Ralph and Vanellope on their quest. Lots of exciting cameos are also featured in the film including a scene that reunites all of the original (living) Disney Princess voice cast.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet” will be packaged and released several different ways, offering families the flexibility to watch the movie instantly and on a variety of different devices of their choosing. The film is available in Digital 4K Ultra HD, HD and SD and physically as a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Digital Copy), a Multi-Screen Edition (Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Copy) and a single DVD."

This past Saturday night during our at-home date night, my husband and I cooked a meal in the kitchen and then settled in to watch Marvel Studios Ant-Man and the Wasp, which is now available to own on Digital as of October 2nd, and will be available on Blu-ray, October 16th.  We were hoping to see this Marvel movie when it was in theaters, but missed it.  It seems like whenever we have a movie we want to see in theaters, someone in the house gets sick, or by the time we have free time to see, the movie is no longer playing in theaters.  So, I have a running list of movies we missed in theaters, and are keeping an eye to pick on Blu-Ray or DVD to watch finally.  And, this has been top on our list.

If you aren't familiar with this movie, here is more about it, including the official movie trailer...

Doesn't this look like a great movie?  I am a fan of Paul Rudd and love seeing him in movies like this, that let him be an action hero, as well as show off his comedic side.  My husband and I found ourselves laughing all the way through this movie.  Even though this is a sequel to the first Ant-Man movie, you can still enjoy this release if you haven't seen the first.  The movie is rated PG-13 and can be watched by older kids, and is less violent than other Marvel movies, but there still are some violent scenes and inappropriate language to watch out for.  M

We are used to watching all the serious Marvel movies that are all fighting, but it is nice to have a movie like this come out from the popular Marvel Studios that can have you laughing, while also getting a dose of superhero adventure and thrills.

In addition to a great movie, as you can see in the above movie synopsis, I shared all the great bonus features included with the digital and Blu-Ray versions of this movie.  From deleted scenes and a hilarious gag reel, to up-close and making off featurettes, you are in for a fun evening when you sit to watch this movie, and stay to enjoy all the great bonus features.  We couldn't stop laughing with the gag reel, and ended up watching it a few times, as it was that good!

If you are looking for a movie to watch for your next at-home date night, or have children 13+ and need a good family-friendly movie, I highly recommend Ant-Man and Wasp.  You will not be disappointed.

Experience the Magic of Disney’s Beloved Flight of Fantasy:
“Peter Pan” Soars Into the Walt Disney Signature Collection
on Digital May 29 and on Blu-ray™ June 5

Celebrate the 65th anniversary of the timeless classic and enjoy new and original bonus features!

Ready to feel old?  To celebrate this beloved Disney movie's 65 anniversary, a new "Peter Pan" Walt Disney Signature Collection edition is being released this Tuesday, June 5th, on digital and Blu-ray.  I can't believe this movie is 65 years old. I grew up watching it, and remember my parents telling me about watching it for the first time when they were younger, and falling in love with the timeless classic.  Come on, who doesn't love Peter Pan?  All the magic and make believe that the story entails makes you wish you could back to your youth and go on adventures like Peter, Wendy, Michael and John went on. Oh, and I can't forget Tinker Bell.  Without her and her magic dust, they wouldn't be able to fly and travel to Neverland.

This past Friday I surprised the family with a fun Peter Pan movie night.  I had coloring and activity worksheets for the girls to do after their school in the afternoon, and make some fun "Peter Pan" inspired snacks to enjoy while we watched the movie for our family movie night.

Even though we have seen Peter Pan countless times, this is one of those great movies you could watch over and over again without getting bored.

And, like with other Walt Disney Signature Collection movies, this one was chock full of bonus features and material, which made our family movie night that much more enjoyable as it was new content that let us see how the story came about, about some of the memorable songs from the movie and so much more.  A favorite of the bonus material was A “Darling” Conversation with Wendy & John: Kathryn Beaumont and Paul Collins, which was a sit down with the actors who voiced Wendy and John, as they reminisced about the movie and their experiences working on this timeless classic.  It was nice to see them reunited all these years later, and to hear stories from the set and how this movie met a lot to them, and their experience with working with Walt Disney himself.  I would have bought this new Blu-ray release just for the bonus content, as it is that good.  :-)

So, if you are a fan of Peter Pan, and want to check out the extra bonus material which I can't stop raving to family and friends about, then you will want to pick up the new Walt Disney Signature Collection edition of Peter Pan when it arrives on Blu-Ray on June 5th.  It is now available to own on digital and Movies Anywhere, as of May 29th.  This movie would make a great family movie night flick that will have everyone snuggling up on the couch to watch one of Disney's most beloved movies.  We can't wait to watch it again soon.

More about this upcoming Blu-ray release:

"In celebration of its 65th anniversary, Disney’s beloved flight of fantasy, “Peter Pan,” joins the highly celebrated Walt Disney Signature Collection, landing in homes on Digital and Movies Anywhere on May 29 and on Blu-ray June 5th. With a little faith, trust and pixie dust, every member of the family will let their imagination soar on this epic adventure to Never Land, sparkling with legendary animation, extraordinary music and both all-new and classic bonus features.

The Walt Disney Signature Collection edition of “Peter Pan” invites adventures of all ages to believe in magic once again and experience a timeless treasure from Disney’s golden age of animation that has stirred the hearts and imaginations of moviegoers worldwide since its original 1953 release. The Signature Collection edition offers over two hours of classic bonus features plus never-before-seen extras, including the latest installment of “Stories from Walt’s Office,” which explores Walt’s love of flying and the company planes; a nostalgic reunion between Kathryn Beaumont (the voice of Wendy) and Paul Collins (the voice of John); and new “Oke” renditions of the classic song “You Can Fly” and deleted song “Never Smile at a Crocodile” accompanied by on-screen lyrics and the film’s unforgettable animated characters.

In “Peter Pan,” fantastic adventures await the Darling children—Wendy, John and Michael—when Peter Pan, the hero of their stories, whisks them away to the magical world of Never Land.  After flying with Peter and the delightfully impish Tinker Bell past the “second star to the right and straight on till morning,” they explore the enchanted island and Peter’s secret hideout with the Lost Boys, and leap into high-flying battles with swashbuckling pirates and the infamous villain Captain Hook.

“Peter Pan” is the seventh title to join the Walt Disney Signature Collection, which includes groundbreaking films created or inspired by the imagination and legacy of Walt Disney, featuring timeless stories and characters that have touched generations. The film takes its place alongside “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pinocchio,” “Bambi,” “The Lion King” and “Lady and the Tramp.”

Bonus Features:
BLU-RAY & DIGITAL*:
  • New Signature Collection Bonus
    • Stories from Walt’s Office: Walt & Flight – “Think of the happiest things, it’s the same as having wings”. One thing you’ll notice inside Walt Disney’s office are all of the models and pictures of airplanes. Walt loved planes and was an aficionado of flying. As a continuation of the “Stories from Walt’s Office” series, we’ll soar into the world of one of Walt’s favorite pastimes and look at the history behind the company airplane he used to scout Central Florida looking for the perfect place to build his second theme park.
    • A “Darling” Conversation with Wendy & John: Kathryn Beaumont and Paul Collins – Join Disney Legend Kathryn Beaumont (the voice of Wendy) and Paul Collins (the voice of John) as they reunite for the first time in many years to reminisce and discuss their experiences working on Peter Pan, meeting Walt Disney and learning to fly … literally.
    • You Can Fly” – A new “Oke” rendition and graphic look of the classic Disney song, “You Can Fly,” with fun lyrics on screen and lots of your favorite “Peter Pan” characters.
    • “Never Smile at a Crocodile” – A new “Oke” rendition and graphic look of the deleted song, “Never Smile at a Crocodile”, with fun lyrics on screen and highlighting the relationship between Captain Hook and Tick- Tock the Crocodile.
  • Legacy/Classic Bonus
    • DisneyView
    • Sing-along Version of the film: Sing along with your favorite songs from the movie.
    • Growing Up with Nine Old Men – “Peter Pan is both a story of living with a child’s sense of openness to the world and an acknowledgement that the path to adulthood most often leads away from those qualities. A parallel of sorts to that duality can be found in Walt Disney and his core group of animators, the Nine Old Men, in their lives and in their work. Our short film will look at who they were and the parts they played in one of the most remarkable team of artists that ever worked together.
    • Deleted Song: “The Pirate’s Song” – Original demo recording of the song played over concept art.
    • Deleted Song: “Never Smile at a Crocodile” – With music played over static concept art of the crocodile from Pater Pan.
    • Deleted Song: “The Boatswain Song” – With music played over static concept art of Captain Hook and his crew.
    • Deleted Scene: “The Journey Home” – A proposed alternate ending where Peter asks the Lost Boys to return home with Wendy and the other children.
    • Deleted Scene: “Alternate Arrival” – A deleted scene where Wendy and the children are initially attacked by the Lost Boys because Tinker Bell tells them that Wendy is holding Peter captive. We also see in this version of the story that Nana the dog travels to Never Land with Wendy and the children.
    • Disney Song Select – Simply play the clip from the movie with subtitles underneath it.
      • “The Second Star to the Right
      • “You Can Fly”
      • “A Pirate’s Life”
      • “Following the Leader”
      • “Your Mother and Mine”
    • Audio Commentary Hosted by Roy Disney – Audio commentary hosted by Roy Disney, but carried on by several other people.
    • Music and More
