A couple weeks ago I was contacted by the folks at Chloe + Isabel and asked if I wanted to review a few of their jewelry pieces that would make for a great Valentine's Day gift for that special lady in your life, or even yourself.  Having never heard of this company, I headed over to https://www.chloeandisabel.com/ to learn more about them and see their product offering.  I was surprised to learn that this was the company sells jewelry through their independent representatives through home parties and online.

This is probably why I had never heard of them as none of my friends or family are independent reps for them.  But, as I looked through their different collections, I found myself falling in love their jewelry and accessories.  I am not usually a big jewelry wearing -- after having my girls, my flashy, expensive pieces I used to wear in the corporate world just didn't seem to pair nicely with my "mom attire."  But, I still love to add pieces here and there and keep for special occasions, when my husband and I can sneak out for a dinner without the girls, or to attend parties and gathering where I have a reason to dress up and look fancy. :-)

What really caught my eye with the Chloe + Isabel line was how the piece were finely detailed, yet the prices were affordable.  You wouldn't expect this from jewelry of this quality, especially NYC-designed ones.  I took the folks at Chloe + Isabel up on their offer on reviewing a few of their pieces, which I thought would for stand outs for Valentine's Day, and within a few days time, the jewelry arrived at my door in two cute jewelry boxes and a sachet style pouch.  I couldn't wait to look at each piece up close.  Just like when viewing the website for the first time, I found myself falling in love with the Chloe + Isabel pieces, and couldn't wait to try them on.  

Even though I was dressed up fancy, I loved how each of the pieces from their Petits Bijoux collection could be worn with casual attire.  My girls saw me admiring the pieces and asked to try them on, too.  They have great taste in jewelry, and when they put on, I could tell that the Petits Bijoux collection is also suited for young girls, too!  My girls are able to pull off any style, and with the cute ring and bracelets from the Petits Bijoux collection, they were able to show off their own style and self expression, just by how they carried themselves with their poses. :-)

I was planning to keep the samples for myself, but saw just how much my girls were really into them. So, together we decided of the three pieces from the Petits Bijoux collection sent, who would get what.  I am the only one with pierced ears, so I chose the Petits Bijous Heart + Arrow earrings and necklace set. My youngest couldn't stop trying on and admiring the Heart + Arrow ring, so that was her pick. And, my oldest is all about hearts and diamonds, so she was quick to ask for the Petits Bijoux pavé bracelet.

Once we had chosen our pieces, the girls and I spent the next hour browsing the Chloe + Isabel website, and putting together a wish list of pieces we would love to get, and talking about how we would piece the different necklaces and bracelets with outfits we had, and imagining the places we would go to show off our delicate yet stylish Chloe + Isabel jewelry.

Holiday Gift Guide 2017: Beautiful Handmade Necklaces for Her from Sweet Charm Elegance (Review)

Do you have a special saying you repeat to your children?  For me it is "I love you to the moon and back; you mean the world to me."  I started saying this to the girls when they were babies and even learned how to sign it to them. And, way before they were learning how to talk, the girls were able to sign it back to me.  It used to make my heart melt seeing them sign this, before following up with big wet toothless kisses.  Now, the girls are getting older -- still can't believe my youngest, Bella, will be 6 this Friday.  Boy, time really does go by fast.  Even though they no longer sign this saying to me, they still love having me say it to them each night when I tuck them into bed.  I get rewarded with telling them how much I love them with a great big hug and gentle kiss on my teeth -- as they have all their teeth now and wet kiss with teeth wouldn't be fun. :-)

I am not one to wear jewelry, but when I do, I like to wear necklaces that have sentimental meaning to me.  I feel that if you are wearing something so close to your heart, it should remind you of something meaningful each and every time you look down at it.

Here is my youngest daughter, Bella, modeling the necklace for me.  She kept saying, "Mommy, this necklace is so beautiful...it must have cost a lost of dollars."  :-)

Unlike other fancy necklaces I own, I loved that I could wear this necklace with casual or dressed up attire.
