My Thoughts:
Don't worry I am not going to bore you with an in-depth review of the movie as you have probably seen and are just picking up the new blu-ray combo or digital download to add to your Transformers movie collection. Right? :-) My post today is mainly a reminder if you forgot to pre-order the movie, or have been hiding under a rock and didn't know it was releasing. :-) In addition, I wanted to share a fun family craft you can enjoy with your as part of your upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight movie night. We just watched this movie with the girls and did the cute flower pots craft with them, and days later this is all they are talking about. They are already asking to watch Transformers: The Last Knight again when Family Movie Night rolls around this Friday. They both keep saying it was so cool, and how they wish that cars really transformed into robots and talked. And, I know if you are a fan on this movie franchise, no matter your age, you, too, wish you could own a car like Bubblebee or Optimus Prime...I sure would.
This movie is the fifth installment in the Transformers franchise, and does not disappoint. From start to finish you are engrossed in the movie and the action does not die down until the credits begin to roll. Note that a few of the battle sequences may be a little much for younger audiences, as this is a PG-13 movie. I distracted my girls at these times with a popcorn run, but could hear my husband reacting excitedly to the battles and explosions that filled the living room. Overall, this movie is one of the best of the Transformers movies...sorry, I am partial to the first one as it got me hooked on the franchise. But, if you are a fan of the franchise you will enjoy the storyline and action packed sequences that pull you in and have you hooked up until the end, where you find yourself wanting to see the sixth installment already. :-)

I don't know about you, but I love planning fun family movie nights with my family. Don't you? Our movie nights start with making homemade pizza or ordering out (depending on our moods and if we are hungry or can wait for delivery :-) ), fun crafts or activities themed to the movie we will be watching, and then popcorn and movie while snuggled up under warm blankets on the couch.
Last week I was asked to share a fun Transformers Flower Pots crafts for the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight Blu-Ray Combo release, which arrived in stores and online today. I was so excited when I saw this as I knew my girls would have so much fun making and it would make for a great centerpiece and bonus treat before we settled in to watch the movie.
Instead of the Transformers cake pops seen in the photo above we ended up dipping fruit in chocolate and adding sprinkles and candies to them, and then placed them on skewer sticks and then into our Transformers flower pots complete with the easy to apply stencil you can print out and use for the craft at home.
