Fans of the Harry Potter movies can now experience "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in a
whole new way, thanks to the Magical Movie Mode, which is available with the new digital, Blu-ray and
DVD release of this timeless classic. Released this past Tuesday, August 17th, to celebrate the
film's 20th anniversary, this new Magical Movie Movie will delight Harry Potter fans both young and
old -- I know this as everyone in our house including my husband and I love this new feature, which
gives fans a behind the scenes feel of the whole filmmaking process, as well as discovering all about
spell incantations, magical artifacts and creatures. And, if that wasn't enough, there is also challenging
and fun movie trivia and activities that will delights HP fans as they celebrate the 20th anniversary
milestone. It blows my mind that it has already been 20 years since we were introduced to Daniel
Radcliffe (AKA: Harry Potter) and his friends. But, I guess when you stop and thinking about the
number of times my family and I have seen all the movies, you would realize it has been that long.
Even though my girls are 10 and 11, they are huge HP fans and can recite each and every movie by
heart, and have also read the books, and love them. And, whenever there is buzz or something new
about the Harry Potter franchise they just have to check it out and experience it for themselves. So,
you can imagine how hyped they were when I showed them this new Blu-ray/DVD release. They
had hoped I was receiving a screener so that they could check in. But, if I didn't, it was top on their
growing wish list for Santa this year. :-)
To say that we enjoyed this new Blu-ray/DVD release is an understatement. Even though we had
already seen this movie countless times, the addition of the Magical Movie Mode made for a fun
new way to experience it, and one my family really enjoyed. Since receiving the screener the other
day, my family has already sat and watched this film and all the extras a few times so far. And, I
know this upcoming weekend we will probably we watching it again...maybe even start a binge of
all the HP movies. :-) If you and your family love all things Harry Potter, then you will definitely want
to pick up this new release which contains the magical movie mode -- that is, if you haven't already.
It really is a fun new way to watch this classic movie, as you celebrate 20 years of Harry Potter.
