Get Ready for Easter with These 3 New DVDs from NCircle Entertainment -- Only $5.00 Each - Review + #Giveaway

Disclosure: I was sent screeners from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Easter is almost here.  Are you ready with all your basket fillers, a holiday menu planned out or dinner reservations made?  And, what about crafts and fun Easter-themed movies to enjoy with the kids?  Well, if you don't have any Easter DVDs in mind, I wanted to share two new DVD releases from NCircle Entertainment, as well as another fun release about jungle friends.  Be sure you read until the end as I will be giving away all three movies to one lucky Inspired by Savannah reader, for you to enjoy with your family.

First up is a cute series called "Munki and Trunk: Meet the Jungle Crew!"  If the cute animals on the cover of this DVD don't make you smile, the name of the show sure will. :-)  This new release is 60 minutes in length and contains 8 full-length episodes for kids to enjoy.

Here is more about the DVD:

"Munki and Trunk: Ain't no mountain high enough, river wide enough, or banana big enough to tear these two apart! Our brave, curious monkey and big-hearted elephant live together in the jungle, as children imagine it: a playground with vines to swing on, trampoline mushrooms to bounce on, and a crew of jungle buddies to share endless adventures. Munki and Trunk explore their world together, facing fears, having fun and helping friends in a comedy adventure that's brim-full of heart, and built on a bedrock of friendship."

Includes these 8 tree-crashing, rock-smashing, water-splashing, fruit-mashing episodes!
  1. Queen of the Swingers
  2. Adventures in Babysitting
  3. Stuck in the Middle with You
  4. Munki's Trunk
  5. Busy Doing Nothing
  6. Static
  7. Bad Hair Day
  8. Ostrich Opera
---

My girls had never heard of this series, but love animals, especially zoo animals, so they were excited to sit and watch the episodes. Even though this series is geared towards the younger crowd -- preschoolers and pre-k age, my girls still enjoyed watching the episodes.  They loved seeing the animals share in fun adventures in the jungle and see how these animals are all friends.  They works together and help each other out during these fun-filled adventures, which also include laughs along the way.  If you are looking for a wholesome series for your kids to watch that centers around friendship and is filled with cute jungle animals, then you will have to pick up this new DVD, which is only $5.00 and contains 8 full-length episodes today!

My youngest daughter loves the Floogals, thanks to previous DVDs we were sent from the kind folks at NCircle Entertainment.  So, when she saw this DVD arrive the other day, she couldn't wait to sit down and watch it.  Not only are the characters and story lines fun and enjoyable to watch, but my daughter loves how they teach about science and STEM topics throughout the episodes.

In this particular DVD, kids will enjoy the following five full-length episodes, which are perfect as we welcome in spring, Easter and the nice weather with more time being spent outdoors as family...

  1. Project Egg Hut
  2. Project Rainbow
  3. Project Kite
  4. Project Picnic
  5. Project Tortoise
Each of these episodes will spark your child's imagination as they follow along as the Floogals go on exciting adventures, filled with observation and discovery.  My youngest really enjoyed this DVD, especially the egg hunt episode, which she was laughing throughout.  She liked how the Floogals thought they were helping clean up by picking up the eggs they found in the yard, only to learn they were placed there for an egg hunt.  And, the Project Kite episode had my daughter asking if we could go to the beach to fly her kite, and then maybe enjoy a picnic afterwords.

All of these episodes are full of adventure, and will have young children excited to learn and explore with the Floogals, as they learn new things.  I highly recommend this series for young learners.  And, at only $5.00 for this DVD, you can't go wrong for the price.

More about this DVD release:

"Each day, Captain Fleeker, First Officer Flo, and Junior Boomer encounter something that sparks their curiosity, setting in motion the day's research "project" and triggering an exciting adventure! In Project Egg Hunt, the Floogals mistakenly think Mom and Dad Hooman have accidently dropped candy eggs in the garden when in fact they have placed them there on purpose to create an egg hunt for their kids. The Floogals think they are being helpful and tidy up the eggs! Once the Floogals realize their mistake, they must get all the eggs back on the ground before the kids arrive so their fun day won't be ruined. Adventure is everywhere they go. They're the Floogals! 3, 2, 1, let's go!"

I used to read the "Guess How Much I Love You" books to my girls when they were babies, and was excited when they came out with animated television series based on the books by Sam McBratney.  My girls and I used to watch the show on television, and they loved seeing their favorite characters from the books I read them at bedtime, come to life on the television screen.  This Easter special is 30 minutes in length, and covers the following themes -- friendship, believing, togetherness and Easter.

My girls and I sat and watched this DVD the other day, and really enjoyed it.  It got the girls excited about Easter and the Easter Bunny's upcoming arrival.  Even though we haven't read the "Guess How Much I Love You" books in awhile as the girls are reading books on their own now, they still enjoy watching this series, especially when new DVDs release like this one.

If you are looking for a cute Easter movie to share with your kids and love the "Guess How Much I Love You" books, then you will definitely want to pick up this new DVD, which is available now.  This is one of those DVDs you will look forward to watching each year, when spring and Easter roll around.

More about this DVD:

"Enjoy this Easter special adventure based on the classic picture book that has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, written by Sam McBratney, illustrated by Anita Jeram and published by Walker Books. When Little Nutbrown Hare sees a pure white fawn shining and dancing in the moonlight his friends think he's making it up. They venture through the woody woods in the next valley, down the streamy stream and pass the rocky rocks to find her but as their doubt grows, she is right there hiding on the patches of white snow, thinking it's a big game of hide and seek. She promises to visit them on Easter Day making Easter that much more special for all."

My Thoughts:

Ever since Savannah stumbled across Dinosaur Train last year, she has become a huge fan of the Pteranodon family, especially Tiny and Dawn.  So, when I heard this DVD, I had to get my hands on a copy and watch it with her.  We don't have many Easter films, so I was excited to add this to our holiday selection for this year and going forward.  As soon as Savannah saw me put it out the mailing package, her eyes lit up, and she had a huge grin on her face.  Thankfully it was Friday, as I don't think she would have been able to wait for the weekend, if this DVD came mid-week.

Once Daddy came home, we ordered take-out and snuggled on the couch watching this film, after Arabella went to bed.  Before Savannah could get comfortable, she had to dance along to the catchy Dinosaur Train theme song, and point and smile at each member of the Pteranodon family. We could tell Savannah enjoyed this film, not only because she sat through the entire 1 hr. 40 minutes, but also because she clapped and cheered throughout each of the 8 episodes.  As parents, both my husband and I enjoy watching this show with Savannah, as we know she is learning about dinosaurs, while having fun with the bright and engaging animated characters.  I can see why this show has won awards and is a favorite amongst young children.

I know we will be watching this DVD again soon, as Savannah will want to share it with Arabella, another fan of Dinosaur Train.  Even though you will not be able to surprise your little one with this DVD in their Easter basket, doesn't mean you still can't pick it up to enjoy during these warmer spring months.  This DVD will provide hours of Dinosaur Train fun for little ones, while offering a great way to spend quality time together as a family.

My Thoughts:

Now that Valentine's Day has come and gone, either you are looking towards St. Patrick's Day or Easter, depending on which holidays you celebrate.  I am currently working to finalize my Easter Basket Gift Guide, which will run from March 1st - March 15th, and have some great gift ideas to share with you soon.  I dont' know about you, but I like getting into the holiday spirit by pulling our our holiday-themed DVDs to watch with the family.  In my opinion, I love the Easter and spring-themed animated movies we have are they are really bright and festive.  And, with the drab days of winter, it is nice to see all the beautiful colors pop off the screen from the decorated Easter eggs, flowers and characters. etc. And, in addition to family favorites we have enjoyed for years, it is always nice to add new Easter-themed movies to our collection. This is where Veggie Tales comes in.  They recently released "A Very Veggie Easter Collection", which contains their popular "Twas the Night Before Easter" and "An Easter Carol."  In addition to the two family-friendly movies, this collection also offers two of Veggie Tales' popular CDs, "“A Very Veggie Easter” and “Hosanna!”

My favorite part of this collection was the CDs as we were able to listen to them in the car together and not have to fight over who gets to listen to what. And, I have been a fan of Amy Grant for years, so it was nice to hear her singing on these CDs. :-)  As for the movies, the girls especially liked "An Easter Carol," which did an amazing job at teaching little ones about the true meaning of Easter, while introducing kids to a beautiful music box angel named Hope.

So, if you are looking to add to your Easter DVD/CD collection, why not pick up Veggie Tales: A Very Veggie Easter Collection today? It would also make for a great Easter basket gift idea. :-) I can see these two movies begin watched by families on Easter morning before you head off to church or gather with family for Easter dinner.

My Thoughts:

I was first introduced to the Martha & Friends DVD series last year, when I had the chance to review the Martha & Friends: Holiday Collection, which featured Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas themed stories and activities.  I wondered how a cartoon version of Martha Stewart would be, and was interested in seeing how my daughter Savannah received her.  I know many people who either love Martha or hate her.  Yes, she may rub you the wrong way, but you have to admit she truly is a crafty lady and comes up with some amazing holiday-themed decorating ideas.

We loved the last holiday collection DVD and couldn't wait to see what other DVDs would release in this series from Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment.  And, when I was sent a press release last month talking about an Easter DVD, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a review copy and watch it with Savannah.  And, this past weekend, we did just that.  Yes, I know what you are thinking -- Easter already -- we haven't even gotten through Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day.  But, I bet if you head to the store today for last minute Valentine's Day candy and gifts, you will see Easter products already being displayed.  I saw them at Rite Aid this past weekend and couldn't believe it.  It seems like each year the holidays are rushed and come and go so quickly. But, besides Christmas, my next favorite holiday is Easter, as I love to decorate eggs with the girls, make cookies and watch the Easter bunny cartoon specials on television with them.

As I watched this Easter special with Savannah, I couldn't help but get excited about Easter, and wanted to try out the different crafts and activities that were available for download.  While this DVD is jam packed with recipes and fun activities to enjoy with the little ones, it also offers up a great story, which will teach children about teamwork and helping others.  And, at only $5.99 from Amazon, you can't go wrong for an entertaining cartoon featuring Martha and her friends, while having an assortment of craft projects, recipes and activities available for download right from the DVD.

So, if you are looking for a fun Easter DVD to share with your children this year, why not pick up Martha & Friends: Martha's Magnificent Egg today?
