Kick off summer reading with this cute new picture book from Jonathan Stutzman, that is all about llama drama.  This book will have kids and parents laughing out loud as they read the story, and admire the cute and playful illustrations done by Heather Fox.  I recently shared "Llama Destroys the World" with my girls, and they LOVED it! As soon as I was done reading the last page to them, they were both quick to ask to read it again, as they really enjoyed it, and thought it was so funny.

About the book:

"Meet Llama, the next great picture-book megastar, who has most definitely driven a bus and who loves tacos way more than you.

He also loves cake, and that’s where our story begins.

On Monday, Llama discovers a pile of cake, which he promptly eats.
On Tuesday, Llama squeezes into his dancing pants, which he promptly rips.
The force of the rip creates a black hole (naturally).
By Friday, Llama will (indirectly) destroy the world.

In their debut picture book, author/illustrator team Jonathan Stutzman and Heather Fox introduce young readers to the comical, the studious, the oblivious Llama, a picture-book hero for the ages.

So grab some cake and your dancing pants and prepare for Llama Destroys the World... because THE TIME FOR LLAMA IS NIGH!"

In addition to enjoying a cute story that will have you giggling right up until the last page, this picture book is also a fun way to introduce and teach the days of the week to little ones.  And, when you get to the page where the llama rips his pants, get ready for uncontrollable belly laughs.  Like I said, my girls really enjoyed this new picture book, which arrives in stores on May 7th.  We have only had it for about a week now, and have already read it a handful of times.  If you are looking for a fun, new book to share with your kids, why not check out this book about a llama who loves to eat and dance.  Need I say more! :-)
