Five Episodes Of Creepy, Crawly Pony Fun!
Last week we were sent the new Halloween-themed MLP DVD to review, which was released from Shout! Factory back on Sept. 4th in the USA and Canada. The DVD contains five full-length MLP Friendship is Magic episodes which are sure to delight and get fans of this popular series excited about Halloween. My girls have been fans of MLP since they were little and I shared my old MLP pony toys with them. And, whenever a new MLP movie comes out in theaters or a DVD featuring their favorite ponies is released to DVD, we are quick to see it.
My girls knew about this recent DVD release way before I did, as they saw a notice on one of the MLP groups they follow. They asked me if we were getting a review copy, and I kept it a secret from them once I knew one was being sent. So, when they opened the mail the other day and saw the My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: Pony Trick Or Treat DVD, they let out a shriek of excitement. Then, their eyes lit up even more when they noticed on the cover art that there were glow-in-the-dark Cutie Mark tattoos inside. They couldn't wait to watch all five episodes that make up this 110-minute run-time DVD, and also couldn't wait to apply one of the boo-utiful tattoos and look at it in the dark. :-)
I love when we get MLP DVDs in the mail to watch, as I grew up loving this show and the ponies, and love being able to share one of my childhood favorites with my girls. We had a blast watching this Halloween-themed DVD, and are even more excited about Halloween coming soon. The girls have already watched this DVD a few times since we sat down to watch together, and I know they will continue to watch leading up to Halloween, and even thereafter.
If you have a MLP fan in your life, then you will want to pick up the new My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: Pony Trick Or Treat from Shout! Factory to their ever-growing MLP DVD collection. This is definitely one holiday-themed DVD not to be missed!
