Can you believe that Halloween is right around the corner?  Just the other day while I was doing last minute "Back to School" shopping with my kids, I saw aisles of Halloween candy, costumes, etc. where the summer supplies used to be.  Ugh, why did summer have to come and go so fast?  It feels like we were just saying goodbye to winter and looking forward to a few months of fun in the sun.  It seems like you blink it a new season is here.

Well, as you prepare to get the kids ready for school, and start planning for your annual Halloween parties, school parties and helping your children decided what they dress us as, why not pick up a copy of the new "Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy" movie which hit store shelves today, to get you in the Halloween spirit? :-)

We were sent this DVD a couple of weeks ago, and ended up watching it this past weekend with my girls and niece and nephew.  I don't know about you, but I grew up watching Scooby-Doo! on television and am so happy that it is still on television and available on DVDs so that I can share with my kids.  You know a show is good when it spans generations, and Scooby-Doo! is one classic kids show that kids and adults of all ages love to watch.  Come on, who doesn't love Scooby Doo or Shaggy?

Here is a short clip from this new DVD so that you can get a feel for what the movie is about...

And, here is more about this new movie, which my family loved and has watched a few times since. :-)

"Scooby-Doo and those “meddling kids,” Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma are back! In this spooky adventure, Velma discovers she’s inherited her great-great-uncle Dr. Von Dinkenstein’s cursed castle in the terrifying town of Transylvania…Pennsylvania, that is. Just when the Gang persuades Velma to claim her inheritance, the ghost of Dinkenstein Castle blows up the Mystery Machine as a warning to the group that each of them will lose what is most dear to them if they continue to pursue the mystery of the castle. Now the gang must spring into action to solve the mystery while also dealing with the threats from Dickenstein’s ghost.  Can Fred work without his precious Mystery Machine?  What happens to Daphne when she loses her good looks?  And how will Scooby and Shaggy ever work without their appetites?  More importantly, what family secret has Velma been hiding all along?"

In addition this monstrous mystery that Scooby and his friends have to solve, this DVD also includes 2 bonus episodes -- "A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts" and "To Switch a Witch" -- both of which are perfect for the fall and Halloween season.

This movie is perfect for kids of all ages, and will definitely get you excited about Halloween and all things spooky. :-)  And, fans of Scooby and Shaggy will definitely get their fix as they watch them solve this mystery, while battling ghosts and monsters along the way.
