Amazon Studios Has Another Hit Kids Show on Their Hands with the New Science-Based Series, Annedroids #Annedroids #CleverGirls #Sponsored

"Annedroids, like all of Amazon’s children’s programs, is designed to develop creative thinking in children and has been tested to ensure they achieve this goal. Amazon’s goal is to inspire lifelong learners and provide children with the skills that will help them find personal and professional satisfaction in their future."

Like many households, my family subscribes to many online streaming services that the entire family can watch from our computer, tablet, cell phones, etc., as well as streamed over the television.  Our favorite of them all has to be Amazon Prime.  Not only do you get 2-day shipping or the option to now get a $1.00 credit to delay shipping a few days and use towards purchasing Amazon movies and shows, but Amazon Prime keeps turning out great new Amazon based series for kids and adults to enjoy.  Just the other day (July 25th to be exact), the folks over at Amazon, launched the highly anticipated "Annedroids" series, which is geared towards kids ages 4-7 years of age.

Prior to the launch of this new kid series, I was given the opportunity to screen the first 7 episodes with my kids.  This new series from Amazon Studios, is the third original kids series, and one that will definitely become a favorite of kids.  Prior to this new series, both of my girls became hooked on the interactive art adventure, Creative Galaxy, which is geared towards preschoolers, as well as Tumble Leaf, a stop-motion animated series encouraging creative scientific discovery.  Instead of watching television, they would navigate their way to the Amazon Prime app on the television and choose one of these children series released by Amazon Studios this past summer.

As a parent, I am always looking for great programs that are not only fun to watch to watch, but also offer educational value at the same time.  And, thanks to the children's series that Amazon Studios has been turning out, including their new kids series, "Annedroids," I can't help but clear my schedule when the girls put an episode on.  Yes, this animated series is geared towards young children, but I have to say that I am hooked to.  The graphics are spectacular and the story lines keep you engaged, and have you wanting to sit for another episode. :-)

After first watching a trailer for this new series, I wasn't sure if Savannah would sit and watch it.  Seeing that the characters were around 11 years of age, much older than she is, I thought she would not find it interested.  Boy, was I wrong!  As soon as she started watching the first episode with me, she turned to me and said, "This is a really good show!."  Then, she asked me to save it like I do with other shows she loves to watch on Amazon, so that it is easier for her to retrieve on her own.

Here is a sneak peek of the new science adventure series, Annedroids, available now through Amazon Studios...

"Annedroids was created by JJ Johnson, and Addison Holley lends the voice to Anne, as does Adrianna Di Liello who voices "Shania".

Along with my daughter, Savannah who is 4,  my 6 year old nephew and 8 year old niece also can't get enough of this new science based action-adventure series from Amazon Studios.  My niece was quick to point out that the lead character was a girl.  usually boys fill the lead role in kids shows nowadays, so she was excited to see a girl filling the role, and also that the character was a genius and kid-scientist...again two things you would not put with a girl lead character.

Along with 11-year old Anne, this new series includes her two friends, who are also her assistants, Nick and Shania.  Working together, this trio "make amazing scientific discoveries, while undertaking the biggest experiment of all:  growing up." :-)

It is hard to find shows on television and offered through sites like Amazon, that kids of all ages can sit down and enjoy together. Even though this series if suggested for kids 4-7 years of age, I have friends who have started watching it with their kids, after I couldn't stop raving about it, and their kids range in age from 2 through 15 years of age.  So, when I hear that their kids can sit together and enjoy watching this series, and then talk about it afterwards, I can't help but smile.  I remember watching shows with my brothers growing up, and have fond memories of imaginative playtime acting out scenes we had scene earlier, or simply talking about our favorite characters or episodes.  Now my girls, along with my niece and nephew and neighborhood children love talking about the happenings on Annedroids.  The girls love seeing "girl power" through Anne's leading role, while go figure, the boys are captivated by the annedroids (or as my girls refer to them as "cool robots").

When the kids are not talking about the cool androids, they are talking amongst themselves and then to the television, as if Anne and her friends can hear them, to help in solving problems and making new scientific discoveries.  Thanks to this new series, my kids are developing a love of science and discovery, while developing their creating thinking skills, that will help them as they advance in school.  Just yesterday, Savannah asked if we could do some cool experiments like Anne and her friends do on the show.  They looked like a lot of fun, and Savannah had a few ideas in mind.  Wow, only 4 years old and already thinking about science experiments.  I would never have expected this. But, thanks to this new series from Amazon Studios, she is developing a love of science and exploration, which is truly amazing, especially for a girl in today's society.  This is one series we will watch over and over again, and talk about, as will other families who watch Annedroids.

If your kids are looking for a fun new series to watch, or are fans of science-based action adventure series, then they will definitely want to check out Amazon Studios' new series, "Annedroids".  I can't wait to hear what your kids think about this new kids series, so please make sure you head back here and leave a comment after watching the first episode (or two or three). :-)
