Serving Up Veggies and Fruits to the Girls Has Never Been Easier and FUN...Thanks to the Big Boss Slice-A-Roo -- Review and #Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Does you husband like gadgets like mine does?  From tech gadgets to even toys, if it lights up or does something cool, my husband will take notice.  :-)  And, I recently got him excited to help out in the kitchen by introduding him to a fun must have kitchen gadget -- the Big Boss Slice-A-Roo.

"Want to slice, shred, or curl your vegetables and fruits for tasty salads or fries? The versatile Big Boss Slice-A-Roo slicer allows you do any of these quickly. This hand-cranked rotary slicer features three blades, and offers built-in storage for extra blades. Simply place the vegetable or fruit on the prong, and rotate the wheel to slice curly fries and more!"

I pretended that I needed help figuring out how to the use this gadget that slices, shreds and curls veggies and fruits.  Leave it to the man of the house to roll up his sleeve and lend a hand, without having to stop and read the instructions. :-)  Within a matter of minutes, my husband was schooling me on the Big Boss Slice-A-Roo, before he took over and finished making curly potatoes that I ended up baking in the oven and making homemade chips with.

My husband was amazed at what this little kitchen tool could do, and has been having fun slicing and shredding different things. Besides making curly fries, he has been on a kick of making curly apple slices, which I have either used in mini apple pies, or simply dried out and turned into apple chips. Yum!

Who knew that being in the kitchen could be so much fun?  My husband always wonders why I like to spend my free time in the kitchen, and now he knows why.  And, you know what, I don't mind him being the kitchen, as he helps me with prep time, and also lets me get creative with the different veggies and fruits that she shreds, slices and makes into curly strips. Just last night I made curly zucchini strips for the girls...which they couldn't get enough of! :-)

The Big Boss Slice-A-Roo would make for a great housewarming gift, bridal shower gift, or for a cook who doesn't own this unique slicer.  Even though my husband has spent more time trying out the Slice-A-Roo, I have tried it out, and love it, too!  It is so easy to use, and stores easily on the counter or in a kitchen cabinet or even on a pantry shelf.

I have owned and used other vegetable slicers in the past, but love the features of this one, which include an easy to turn handle and the suction cups at the box of the slicer, which secure it to the counter, so you don't have to worry about it slipping and sliding around.  And, the feature of the 3 types of blades makes for cutting different veggies and fruits easy.
