Healthy Snack Options for the Whole Family Week: Butternut Squash Corn Tortilla Chips from Garden of Eaten' (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent samples from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

The past couple of weeks I have been sampling a variety of snacks that every member of the family will enjoy, and you will feel bad reaching for another handful.  And, many of the snack reviews I will be featuring this week are also Gluten-free.

First up is Butternut Squash Corn Tortilla Chips from Garden of Eaten'.

These corn tortilla chips are made with organic yellow corn and are Gluten-free.  I don't know about you, but I have never seen or tried butternut squash flavored tortilla chips.  But, the idea of this flavor served up in a tortilla chip intrigued me.  I wondered if they would taste good dipped in cheese or salsa, or would be just as tasting enjoyed right out of the bag.  I was pleasantly surprised that these crispy, airy tortilla chips could be enjoyed with a variety of salsa dips, as well as enjoyed right from the bag.  I personally found myself reaching for a handful when looking for a quick snack throughout the day.

In regards to the butternut squash flavor, you can taste this natural flavor in each and every chip, which I thought was amazing.  I usually reserved butternut squash as a side dish for turkey dinners, but now I can say that I also love butternut squash in tortilla chip form.

I have never tried Garden of Eaten' products prior to being send a couple bags of these corn tortilla chips to review, but have to say I will be looking for this brand for now on.  Unlike other tortilla chips brands I have bought in the past, you can tell that the folks at Garden of Eaten' trade pride in providing their loyal customers will top quality product, by using only high quality ingredients in each made to order batch, of which they grind their own whole corn kernels before cooking them.  I can see why Garden of Eaten' has been around for more than 40 years, and will be around for 40+ more, as they offer exceptional all natural, certified organic products, which also include over 20 varieties of all natural tortilla chips, baked tortilla chips, multi-grain tortilla chips and even taco shells and taco dinner kits.

I can't wait to try out the taco shells.  If they are anything like the butternut squash corn tortilla chips I recently sampled with my family, they will be added to my favorites list from Garden of Eaten' that will continue to purchase and recommend to family and friends.  With the summer fast approaching, this means family gathering and cookouts for our family.  I will be picking up more of these butternut squash tortilla chips as well as other varieties of tortilla chips to serve to family and friends with homemade salsa.

If you and your family love tortilla chips as much as my family does, and you haven't had a chance to try tortilla chips from Garden of Eaten' including their butternut squash corn tortilla chips, you will definitely have to keep an eye out the next time you go food shopping, and pick up a bag to try.  You, too, will be amazed at the amazing taste of this all-natural certified organic tortilla chip.
