Great Gift Idea for Kids -- The Discovery Kids 3-in-1 Tabletop Easel -- Folds Up for Easy Storage (Review)

Disclosure: I was sent a sample from the vendor in order to write up an honest review.  The views shared are mine and mine alone.

"The Discovery Kids Tabletop Easel has a compact design. The adjustable& foldable wood easel features a built-in 49 ft. paper roll, a chalkboard & a dry-erase board. Includes dry eraser, grip clip & chalk."

I was recently sent this tabletop easel from Discovery Kids to review with Savannah, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the high quality look and feel of this easel.  Another bonus was that you could take the easel right out of the box, and only have to worry about feeding the paper roll into place, and you were ready to go.  No need for tools or extra time to fumble through directions trying to figure out how to put this easel together.  Easels were never my strong point when it came to assembling, especially when I used to be in the corporate world and had to set up displays and presentations with them.  They never stayed in place, or had too many chains, screws or other pieces, that never seemed to match up or want to stay together.  But, with this tabletop easel, all you had to do was pull the two sides open, and then lock the wood lever into place, and you are good to go.

In addition to the 49 ft. paper roll, you will also find a dry eraser, grip clip and three pieces of chalk to get you started.  Kids will have a blast using the chalkboard when pretending to play school, create a masterpiece for the refrigerator or to give to Nana and Papa with the dry-erase board area, which you can pull a sheet of paper over, clip in place and draw to your hearts content.  And, when you don't feel like using paper, kids can simply use dry erase markers to doodle on the dry erase board,  then wipe it away with the dry eraser included, and start all over again.

We have had the Discovery Kids 3-in-1 Tabletop Easel for about a month now, and it is one toy I can say the girls play with on a daily basis.  They either use it when they want to play by themselves, or have me set it up for pretend play -- school is always a favorite for this tabletop easel.

When not in use, I love that I can simply fold up the easel, store it away in the box it came in and either put in the closet or in a corner.  I don't have to worry about losing valuable play space due to an oversized toy that doesn't get frequent play time.  And, when it comes time to replacing the paper roll, which we still have a lot left, it will be a breeze, as we will not need to unscrew or disassemble to access the wooden dowel and string it is looped through.  I love it when toys like this are ready for use right out of the box, and provide hours of enjoyment to little ones, and can grow with them.  I can see my girls using this tabletop easel to practice writing their letters, numbers and first words...as well as more pretend school play.

So, with the holidays right around the corner, why not pick up this 3-in-1 Tabletop Easel from Discovery Kids to surprise your child with.  Just make sure you pick up dry erase markers, if you don't have them, as you don't want to hand them permanent markers and have them ruin the dry erase board the first go around.
