My Thoughts:

I have shared a handful of Wild Kratts DVD reviews over the past couple of years, and was excited when I was recently contacted by the folks at PBS Distribution about reviewing an upcoming box set from the ever popular PBS Kids animated series.  I knew two little girls who would go crazy when they saw the 4 DVDs, and would want to watch each and every episode at least a half a dozen times. :-)  A few weeks ago, I received an advance copy of WILD KRATTS:  WILDEST ANIMAL ADVENTURES (4-DVD Box Set), and made my daughters' day.  They had been laid up with another head cold, so we were running out of DVDs to watch, that kept their attention while resting on the couch.  As soon as they saw this box set, their moods perked up, and they couldn't wait for me to put on the first DVD.

This DVD Box Set includes the following DVD's, along with episodes:

Disc 1: Creature Adventures

If you have little ones and tune into PBS Kids, then you have probably seen Wild Kratts.  When the girls and I first saw this show, I didn't think they would like at, as it starred two brothers, Martin and Chris, who transformed from real life people into cartoon character.  Once in character form of themselves, they would go on adventures in the wilderness, as they introduce young viewers to the different species of animals, etc.  Not only was the theme song catchy, but the show itself was very interesting, and not one the girls had seen before.  They, like their mom, were hooked from the start.  And, now we don't like to miss an episode.  Because we are just huge fans, the girls and have already seen each of the episodes listed above a few times, either when it aired on television or through our DVDs or online streaming players.  But, this didn't stop the girls from enjoying all four DVDs full of Wild Kratt Brothers adventures.  Since receiving the box set for review, the girls have already watched all the episodes 2-3 times each. :-)

So, if you have a Wild Kratts fan in your house, or are looking for a fun new series to share with your little one, you will want to make a point to pick up this DVD box set, while it becomes available on Sept. 3rd.  And, for only $39.99, you can't go wrong for the price, as you receive over 9.25 hours of Wild Kratts fun.  This would also make for a great back to school gift, or to stocking stuffer gift idea this holiday season. :-)
