One of my weaknesses besides chocolate is pretzels. My husband and I have visited PA for weekend getaways just to pick up some of our favorite pretzels and pretzel rolls to take home. So, when I was recently sent a bag of pretzel rolls from Labriola Baking, I was in Heaven. If you are a fan of pretzels, but never have tried pretzel rolls or bread, you are missing out -- it really is delicious.
Here is what a fresh baked batch of Labriola Baking pretzel rolls look like before bagged up - Yum!
While I planned to use these pretzel rolls as slider buns for turkey burgers the other night, they didn't make it dinner. As soon as the girls went down for a mid-morning nap, I popped one of the rolls in the microwave for 20 seconds. Mmm, I am getting hungry just thinking about it. Twenty seconds was just enough time to warm the roll up and make it soft. :-) I caught up on the news, while snacking on my warm pretzel roll from Labriola Baking. When I was done, I found myself reaching back in the bag for another. :-) And, when the girls got up for lunch, I gave them a warmed pretzel roll to try. After the first bite, they were hooked like their Mom. I couldn't resist snacking another roll as they enjoyed their rolls with lunch. I had told my husband about how we had received these rolls and how I would be using them with dinner. But, by the time he came home, there were only 4 rolls left -- enough for each of us to have one.
My husband had hoped that I had received a few bags to review, as he really wanted another one. But, unfortunately, we only were sent one -- leaving us needing to buy more to satisfy our now pretzel roll craving. :-) Have you heard about Labriola Baking, or tried their pretzel rolls? If not, you will have to check out their website to learn more. They make fresh baked breads and pastry, that will leave your mouth watering.
