My Thoughts:

I grew up watching Fraggle Rock on television.  What about you?  Knowing that the Fraggles are celebrating 30 yrs. sure does make me feel old.  But, I am excited to be able to share another childhood favorite show with my girls now.  So, when I received the screener copy of "Meet the Fraggles" last week, I couldn't wait to see what the girls  thought of the cute, lovable Fraggles.

The Fraggles reminded Savannah of some of her favorite shows that use puppets, so she was eager to watch the DVD.  I put on Fraggle Rock: Meet The Fraggles and snuggled with the girls on the couch.  I was happy to see the pilot episode, "Beginnings," as I didn't remember this episode.  As soon as Wembly and Gobo appeared on the screen, memories of my childhood came rushing back.  We ended up watching the entire DVD, which was 149 minutes in length, and included 6 episodes in totals.  And, by the time the last episode finished, Savannah turned to me and asked for more. :-)  I guess we will be picking up the 30th Anniversary Collectors Set to enjoy more Fraggle Rock.

If you grew up watching Fraggle Rock and want to share the Fraggles with your children, then you will want to pick up either the 30th Anniversary Collectors Set or Fraggle Rock: Meet The Fraggles DVD's, which become available on May 14th.   Just get ready to start singing the catchy theme song.  Since watching the DVD for the first time, I can't see to get the Fraggle Rock theme song out of my head. :-)
