My Thoughts:

Our family has been a fan of pediped® shoes, since I was first given a pair of pediped® Originals for Savannah when she started to learn how to work a couple years ago.  And, since then, we have been purchasing shoes from their three signature lines -- Originals®, Grip ‘n’ Go™ and Flex® -- for both Savannah and Arabella. Out of all the toddler shoes I have purchased, I have to say that these shoes offer the most support for beginner and advanced walkers.  Whenever Savannah has a pair of pediped® shoes on, she always tells me how comfortable they are to walk in, and loves the soft insoles.

Recently, I learned about new line of spring/summer shoes from pediped® for both boys and girls, and couldn't wait to get my hands on a sample to review.   I loved the pastel and bright colors for summer, and how a selection of the shoes were machine washable.  I don't know about you, but my girls loves to jump in muddy puddles, and run around in the dirt -- especially when they are wearing dress shoes.  When this happens, I find myself stressing out about how to clean their shoes, in hopes of not having to toss them after just a few uses.  Most of their other shoes are not machine washable, and can only be spot cleaned -- which really doesn't work.  So, when I heard that pediped® was offering machine washable shoes in their new spring/summer collection, I got excited.  The warmer weather is when the girls are outdoors more, and getting their clothes and shoes dirty.  Having the ability to wash shoes after a busy down out at the local playground or at a playgroup, is great for busy moms like me.  Instead of spending what seems like hours having to spot clean over and over again, I can simply through the machine washable line of pediped® shoes in the wash. :-)

I ended up picking up a few of these shoes for the girls, and can't wait to have them wear them this summer.  But, in the meantime, Savannah has been enjoying wearing the Flex Evangeline - Fuchsia sample from the Grip ‘n’ Go™ spring/summer line from pediped®, that I was sent to review.

About Evangeline Fuchsia
"Who says a girl can’t have fun and look great? The Evangeline brings a lot of sparkle to a comfy play shoe. This fabric shoe has a three dimensional, jeweled flower for an extra dose of girly fun.

  • Fabric upper
  • All natural rubber sole
  • Casual Mary Jane with Velcro strap that stays securely in place
  • Features Flex Fit System™, which allows children to adjust the fit of their shoes and prolong the length of wear.
  • Approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association for promoting healthy foot development"

Usually she doesn't like to dress up, except for special occasions, like Easter and her birthday, so I thought she wouldn't get much use out of these dainty shoes, which have a flower on the toe.  When I showed the Flex Evangeline in Fuchsia shoes to Savannah, she fell in love with them, and "Oh, so pretty.  Can I wear?"  At the time, she was wearing fleece winter pants and a sweatshirt -- not really the clothes for such a beautiful pair of shoes like these.  But, how could I say no, as she already had her sneakers off and was waiting to put these new shoes on.

Savannah is at the age where she wants to choose her own outfits for the day, including socks and shoes for both her and her little sister.  More times than not, she is bringing me these shoes to put on with her outfits.  After you see these cute pediped® shoes up close, you will see why see (and I) love them so much.  She loves the sparkles and addition of the flower, and will wear these Grip ‘n’ Go™ shoes with and without socks without a problem. :-)  Here is a photo I took of her the first time she saw the shoes.  As you can see, the shoes didn't match the outfit, but being a little fashionista, she made it work, and even wore the shoes out to do errands with me.

Everyone who saw the shoes that day and thereafter would compliment her on her pretty shoes, with a few moms and grandmothers asking where they could get the shoes for their little ones.  I couldn't help but share my love for pediped® with them, and tell them about the three signature lines for both boys and girls -- Originals®, Grip ‘n’ Go™ and Flex®.  I can't wait to pick up a few other shoes from their spring/summer line, including their Grip ‘n’ Go™ "Savannah" shoes in pink.

If you are looking for some great, and oh so comfortable shoes for your little ones this spring/summer, why not consider picking up a pair (or more) from pediped®?  Once you try these shoes (if you haven't already), you will see why my girls and I love them so much, and continue to buy shoes from this trusted brand. :-)
