My Thoughts:

After I was diagnosed with cancer back in 2008, I began to struggle with my faith.  I wondered why I was dealt this lousy deck of cards.  After having various medical conditions and surgeries as a child, I thought I had paid my dues, and that my adulthood would be easier health wise.  But, when I heard the doctor tell me that I had a rare form of cancer, and that it was stage 2, I threw my hands up in the air, and asked why me.  During my treatment, a handful of family and friends shared spiritual books with me to help me find my way back to God.

If you have battled cancer or have been a caregiver to someone with a life-threatening disease like this, you may have also struggled with God and wondering about his plan for you.  Well, this book in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series is filled with 101 inspirational stories of those who have questioned God and their faith, but found their way back to God.  I thoroughly enjoyed each and every story, and found myself relating to many of the stories.  It is always nice to read inspirational stories like these that reassure you that others have doubts about faith and God at different times in their lives, but eventually find their way back to God, as they realize he has plan for all of us.

Have you found yourself questioning your faith recently, or know someone who is struggling with theirs, then this would be a great book to read.
