Candicheeks -- Offering Unique Baby Accessories (Review and Giveaway)

CandiCheeks, LLC was founded in 2011 by John & Sue Lee, a husband and wife team. The occasional hobby of ecommerce originated back in 2004 when Sue started selling items through an online marketplace. The aspiration to create an independent marketplace was cultivated, and in late 2010, John and Sue began to think of a unique product line that could attract prospective customers. The uniqueness aspect was soon answered after the birth of their first child in late summer.

Attempting to shop in retail stores and online instantiated the realization of finding cute and unique baby/children accessories, particularly socks and hats, was difficult,if not nearly impossible. Socializing with family, friends, and coworkers reemphasized this difficulty, therefore, swaying John & Sue to start looking elsewhere.

Why are cute baby/children styles overseas not widely sold in the U.S.? After looking through all of the different samples produced by international manufacturers, John & Sue decided to take the plunge in creating an online webstore, CandiCheeks, created by Parents for Parents, wanting the cutest and adorable baby accessories, nearly impossible to find! Soon after determining the product line, CandiCheeks was launched in Spring 2011, and the marketplace that was once a dream, became a reality.

My Thoughts:

The folks a CandiCheeks, LLC kindly sent both Savannah and Arabella socks to review.  I love it when I have an excuse to dress the girls up or have them model products for my blog.  Here are the photos I took of them with the socks that were sent:

Since receiving the frog slip on socks, these have became an instant favorite of Savannah's.  Prior to these slip on frog socks, she would sport her Ugg boots.  But, not anymore.  Every morning when she gets up, she brings over her frog socks and has me put them on.  And, at the end of the night, she is back in her frog socks, as she gets ready for bed.  With the daily use of these slippers, I am happy to say that they are holding up great.  I continually wash them, and the color hasn't faded, nor has the material given way.  As for Arabella's bunny socks, these were a hit at my parents' Easter party.  Arabella started off in dress shoes, but quickly changed into these more comfortable socks.  Instead of complimenting her on the Easter dress, family and friends couldn't stop talking about how cute and comfortable her bunny socks looked.

I am so glad that I have found CandiCheeks, as I am always on the lookout for fun and unique accessories for the girls.  I am loving their assortment of socks and hats.  And, with Savannah's birthday fast approaching, I get to use her birthday as an excuse to buy a few accessories for her.  Hmm, now to only decide on 3-4 items, when my wish list is a page long. :-)
