My Thoughts:

 

I have been using workouts videos in the evening to not only unwind from a busy and sometimes hectic day with 2 babies at home (17 months and 7 weeks old), but also help shred the remaining baby weight I gained with my recent pregnancy.  When I am not doing ZUMBA or other high-impact workouts, I like to slow down the pace and do Yoga 2-3 times a week.  It is a great way to regain balance both mentally and physically. 

Having been a fan of Deepak Chopra and his books, I couldn’t wait to try out his new line of Yoga Transformation workout videos.  The above two DVDs were released at the beginning of December, and have been receiving rave reviews from critics and other mom bloggers I follow.  So, I couldn’t wait to try out these two DVDs for myself. 

Not only were the two DVDs enjoyable, but I also found the special features to be helpful as well.  Deepak and Tara showed viewers how to properly breath during Yoga, as well as how to meditate.  These were just 2 of the handful short lessons that were included in the Special Feature sections of these exercise DVDs.  As for the Yoga workouts themselves, they were easy to follow and long enough to provide you with a great workout, while also being short enough not too drain your energy or leave you tired.  I felt rejuvenated after each viewing, and when I had 10-15 minutes to spare, I was able to follow along as Deepak Chopra walked viewers through meditation.  What a great way to clear your head from the stresses of the world, even for a little while.

Never tried Yoga before, but want to?  Pick up one of these DVDs today and you will become a fan like I have.  The concepts and poses are easy to grasp. And, each DVD is great for all, from novice to advanced.  Even if you don’t like to exercise, you will enjoy these DVDs, which will restore balance to your life in only 50 minutes!
