Even thought we don't have a cat, my oldest daughter, who is a huge cat lover, couldn't get enough of this book.  There is a faux cat at the back of the book, which you can see in the cover art above.  So, she had fun flipping through the scenes and seeing the cat with a new hat, on a new adventure.  When she was done flipping through the pages, she came up with the idea to see if this book would work with our small rescue dachshund mix, Milly.  While Milly is not a fan of dressing up in clothes, or posing for photos, the girls, working together did get her to pose for a couple quick photos. :-)

If you have a cat lover in your life, or your are a crazy cat lady :-) , then you will definitely want to pick up this book.  When you aren't laughing at your cats in hats, you will have fun like my girls did, in snapping photos of your pet with all the different hats that fill the pages of this board book.
