June Kicks Off World Ocean Month -- Join the 100K Initiative by Pledging to Use Less Plastic

Disclosure: I was sent samples from the vendor in exchange for an honest review. All views shared are mine and mine alone.

WORLD OCEAN MONTH is in June and FOUND Beverage Company Is Using World Ocean Month To Protect Ocean Wildlife for June 2019 Through the 100K Initiative

"Each year 100,000 marine mammals are impacted by plastic in the ocean and because of that FOUND Beverage  has developed 100,000 bottles of the brand's naturally sparkling, infused mineral water to sell and raise money for Oceana [the world's largest advocacy group].

Each glass bottle is numbered and represents a mammal that is negatively impacted. FOUND Beverage bottles are made from 100% recycled glass. "

I was recently sent a case of limited edition FOUND beverages Cucumber Mint sparkling mineral water to sample with my way, as we all pledge to use less plastic, to help protect the oceans and the animals that live there.

Even though my girls are not big sparkling water drinkers, they were in awe at how beautiful the #100KInitiative bottle, which is made from 100% recycled glass, was. My youngest said it was almost too pretty of a bottle to drink.

But, the girls were both intrigued by the cucumber mint flavor and wanted to sample it.  Luckily, we were sent a case, so we had enough bottles to go around, and didn't have to worry about anyone fighting over wanting their own bottle. :-)

So, how did this naturally sparkling water from FOUND Beverage Company taste?  We all loved the flavor, and you could taste both cucumber and mint with each and every sip.  Within a matter of minutes, both of my girls had finished drinking their drink, and were running to the sink to wash out the bottle.

They both wanted to keep the bottle, and display it on the dress, as a reminder of their pledge to use less plastic, which included straws, to help the wildlife who call the ocean their homes.  Every little bit helps, and it starts with a pledge to use less plastic.  And, thanks to FOUND and the 100K Initiative, hopefully we can all do our part to cut down the plastic use in our country, and think of our oceans and wildlife.

FOUND and Oceana invite you to join the 100k Initiative by pledging to use less plastic at https://drinkfound.com/pages/the100kinitiative.

In addition to the Cucumber Mint flavor, FOUND Beverage Company also offers Elderflower as part of their 100K Initiative Bottles release.

Order either the Elderflower or Cucumber Mint limited edition bottles here.

After sampling and loving the cucumber mint flavor, we can't wait to order the elderflower flavor to try.

I hope you will join me this June in celebrating World Ocean Month, by pledging the use of less plastic.  You can learn more about the 100K Initiative, from FOUND and Oceana below...

The spiraling effects of the plastic bag on our marine environment

"According to UNESCO, the number of 100,000 represents the amount of marine mammals impacted by plastic in the oceans. To commemorate these animals, FOUND has developed 100,000 bottles of the brand's naturally sparkling, infused mineral water to sell and raise money which Oceana will use to protect the oceans, and the wildlife that call it home.

Facts and figures on marine pollution - UNESCO

The 100K Initiative is also supported by fashion brand, Les Girls Les Boys. LGLB are donating proceeds from their Swim Collection through World Oceans Month, and are driven to change the unsustainable practice in the fashion industry.

FOUND Beverage Company was the first carbon neutral beverage company in the world and uses naturally sparking water.

Current flavors for the 100K Initiative is Elderflower and Cucumber Mint. 100% of profits go to protecting all wildlife that still call our oceans home."

Study: Scientists believe ocean pollution set to triple in a decade. Warns of immediate action required.
