Crayola Has You Covered for All Your Easter Basket Filler Needs -- Check Out Some of Their New Products Including the Silly Putty BiGG Egg Pastel (Review)

Disclosure:  I was sent samples from the vendor in exchange for an honest review.  All views shared are mine and mine alone.

Hippity, Hoppity, Hop...that is the sound that the Easter Bunny will be making in a few short weeks, when he visits each child's house to fill their baskets with treat and surprises, and maybe even a yard or house will plastic eggs for kids to find come Easter morning. One thing my girls know that the Easter Bunny will bring, as he does every year, is new Crayola products including coloring sets and chalk.  My youngest one the other day said, "It wouldn't be Easter, if Harry (that is the name the girls gave the bunny when they were little and it has stuck), if he didn't leave us Crayola goodies."  And, you know what...I would have to agree with her.  As a child, the bunny would always leave my brothers and I new boxes of Crayola crayons and markers for us to get creative with. Now that I have kids of my own, I guess my girls have the same bunny or his offspring, as my girls get some of the same sweets and tricks I grew up finding in my basket on Easter morning.  I will say, though, that I am loving all the new Crayola products available nowadays, and wish they were around when I was little. I sure would have loved their Color Wonder sets...and, I know my mom would have, too! :-)

As Easter draws near, I wanted to share a few new products from Crayola that would make for great Easter basket fillers, and that will not break the bank.:-)

Thanks to the kind folks at Crayola, they sent samples of the above mentioned Crayola products for my girls to help me review, and boy did they have fun with these Crayola products. Just look at the smiles on their faces when they first saw the Crayola goodies arrive...

My oldest has been a fan of Paw Patrol since she was little, and still loves to watch this hit animated series.  So, when she saw the Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring Pad & Markers, Paw Patrol featuring all the Paw Patrol pups, she asked if she could have it.  Thankfully her little sister is not a fan, so she said it was all hers. :-)  My youngest ended up taking the Crayola Color Wonder Stow & Go Studio and the Silly Putty BiGG Egg Pastel.

These Crayola goodies couldn't have come at a better time as it was a rainy day and the girls were about to ask me what they could, after they finished their school work.  This was not the first time that they have used Color Wonder sets -- so, they were quick to grab the bin of old Color Wonder Mess Free markers they have collected, to go with the two new sets Crayola sent.  And, for the next couple hours, the girls kept busy with their new Crayola Color Wonder sets.

My oldest really got into coloring the different Paw Patrol scenes. She was quick to point out that this set was special in that it had hidden images that you can over with your special Color Wonder Mess Free markers.

So, when she was done adding color with her markers to the pictures, she colored in the scenes to find the different hidden pictures.

All throughout the coloring process my daughter was all smiles.  She really enjoyed this new Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring Pad & Markers, Paw Patrol and was so happy it was sent for her to try out.

I thought she would save a few coloring sheets for another day, but she zipped right through them, and then found spots on the fridge and then on her bedroom wall to hang her new Color Wonder Mess Free masterpieces. :-)

As far as my youngest daughter went with her stow and go studio set, she, too, was kept busy for hours as she used the Color Wonder Mess Free markers that came with the set, as well as others we had from previous Color Wonder sets.

She decided to make pictures to send to her Nana and Papa, for the fridge, and also a few to mail and give to her friends.

I really loved watching her create beautiful artwork, without the mess of a marker smudge, or it getting on the table, or bleeding through the coloring page -- all things my daughter hates happen when she uses markers.

My youngest ended up sharing the Silly Putty BiGG Egg Pastel with her big sister.

They both couldn't get over how much silly putty was in the egg, and how big the egg was.  This is the not the size egg we got as kids from the Easter Bunny.  I had shown the girls years ago how you can transfer images from newspaper using silly putty, so they were quick to grab a few newspapers from the magazine bin, to try it out.  When they weren't transferring images from the comics section, they sat at table rolling out the putty and then making things with it.  They both really enjoyed the Silly Putty BiGG Egg Pastel, and hoped that the Easter Bunny would bring more for them to play with, and not have to share.

We really had a lot of fun reviewing the three new Crayola products.  Both of my girls agree that they would make for great Easter basket fillers, and said that kids of all ages would love the Color Wonder Mess Free sets, as they are great for rainy days and on-the-go fun.  So, if you are still looking for fun gifts to pick up and add to your child's Easter basket, why not consider picking some of these new products from Crayola.  You can learn more about these and other new Crayola products by visiting https://shop.crayola.com/ today.
