The Stunning, Magical Adventure Arrives Home
on Digital and Blu-ray™ January 29th

Featuring a star-studded cast, including Keira Knightley, Mackenzie Foy
and Misty Copeland, with Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman

THE NUTCRACKER AND THE FOUR REALMS was one of the few movies I was really hoping to see on the big screen as it looked so magical and one to see on a big theater screen.  But, due to illness we missed it, and have been eagerly awaiting its arrival on Blu-Ray and DVD.  After all this waiting, we finally got to watch it this evening, and it was amazing.  If you missed it when it was in the theaters, you really should get your hands on this movie when it arrives in stores on January 29th.

My girls are huge fans of Misty Copeland, and this was part of the reason they wanted to see this movie, in addition to loving the whole Nutcracker tale.  There were so many wonderful and stunning visual effects that made this movie and all the scenes come to life and feel so realistic.  This is the type of movie you were afraid to blink as you didn't want to miss a thing, as well as one that you will watch again and see scenes or parts that look new.

Even though it isn't Christmas time, when you think about the Nutcracker, this movie is one of those movies you can enjoy year round.  Disney never disappoints with their family-friendly movies, and that is especially true with this release.  Even my husband had his eyed glued to the television, and agreed with the girls and I when it was over, that it was a great movie. Tomorrow, we will be watching all the extra bonus content that comes with the Blu-Ray/DVD release.  And, then in the near future will be watching this movie again, as it is that good!
