SCOOBY-DOO! AND THE CURSE OF THE 13TH GHOST
A BRAND-NEW ORIGINAL ANIMATED FILM
IS AVAILABLE ON DVD AND DIGITAL
FEBRUARY 5, 2019
FROM WARNER BROS. HOME ENTERTAINMENT

My youngest daughter was all smiles on Friday, when she helped me open the mail.  Why?  Because, she opened the upcoming Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost DVD, which releases on Feb. 5th, along with the digital version of this all-new, full-length animated film.  Out of all the movies we have been sent recently to review, this is one she has been waiting on, after hearing last month of its upcoming release.  Even though she only started watching Scooby-Doo movies and cartoons last year, thanks to my husband putting one movie on, and sitting to watch with her, she has quickly caught up and watched many of the great Scooby-Doo animated films released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

Like I said, my husband, who was a big Scooby-Doo! fan as a kid, turned my youngest onto this iconic animated series, and they love to spend quality Daddy/Daughter time watching these animated films which are on television, and which we have acquired to slowly build a great Scooby-Doo! DVD collection.  My daughter and husband ended up sitting down this afternoon to watch Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost, which has Scooby-Doo! and friends on the hunt for a lost chest, while also trying to capture the 13th ghost.  Filled with adventure, laughs and fun, the animated film, which has a run time of 82 minutes, is sure to delight Scooby-Doo! fans both young and old.

So, what is so special about the lost chest?  It contains the spirits of the 12 captured ghosts.  And, the gang has to travel the snowy peaks of the Himalayan mountains to find this chest and the ghost (#13) who got away, and put him back in the chest for good.  My husband and daughter really enjoyed this movie, especially when the identity of the 13th ghost was revealed (don't worry I will not spoil it for you).  As soon as the movie was over, my daughter turned to my husband and gave him a big smile and two thumbs up, before asking when he wanted to watch it again...hoping he would say soon.

As soon as they were done watching this upcoming release, I had a surprise for my daughter.  Thanks to the folks at Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, I was sent a fun shadow box activity printable, which you can download and print out below FREE for your kids.  My daughter loved this activity, not just because she loves to color, but also because she was able to sit with her Daddy and put together the shadow box, which they later showed and demoed to my oldest daughter and I.

Print and enjoy this fun activity, to go along with this upcoming Scooby-Doo! release

If you have a Scooby-Doo! fan in your life, then you will want to make sure you pick up this upcoming release, when it arrives in stores on DVD on February 5th.  It will also be available on Digital this same day, if you prefer this viewing option.

More about this upcoming Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost release:

Home Entertainment. It’s an action-packed adventure the whole family can enjoy together as the lovable Great Dane and the teen sleuths embark on a thrilling voyage to find the lost chest and capture the 13th ghost – the one that got away!  Based on the classic animated television series The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, in this brand new film, viewers will finally learn the identity of the 13th ghost – a mystery that has never been revealed before. Scooby-Doo! and the Curse of the 13th Ghost will retail for $19.98 SRP.

After the Mystery Inc. gang goofed up a case and nabbed an innocent man, they’re forced into early retirement from crime solving. It’s not long however, before their old friend Vincent Van Ghoul needs help and pulls the team right back into action. The gang has unfinished business they must tend to, which involves catching a ghost that previously got away. It all happened one summer while Velma and Freddy where away at camp. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and Daphne secretly hunted down 12 of the world’s spookiest ghosts but failed to catch the most evil one of them all…the 13th ghost.

Now the elusive spook is wreaking havoc. Vincent needs help having him captured and confined to the chest of demons, a box that contains the other 12 captured ghosts. With the 13th ghost still on the loose, the gang will have to come out of retirement and finish the job once and for all. The chest however, is now located somewhere in a remote village in the Himalayas. Determined to help Vincent, the gang sets out on one of their most thrilling adventures yet!
