Even though we haven't had much snow this winter, after the last snow/ice storm last week, I am sure ready for Spring to get here. Maybe it is because I am getting older, but I can't handle this cold New England weather like I used to. Just the thought of going outside when it is in the 20's-30's, or even lower temps. has me shivering. Oh, how I long for spring and the winter thaw, so that I can see the tulip and daffodil bulbs growing and peaking out of the ground. And, who doesn't love to hear the birds chipper as they return and set up a new home in the branches of your backyard trees, settling in for spring, summer and early fall? I, for one, am ready for all things spring, which includes Easter. And, to get me and the girls excited about spring, I sat down to watch some episodes that make up the new "Peter Rabbit Springtime Collection 2-Pack", which arrives on DVD on Feb. 5th.
Peter Rabbit is a popular animated series airing on Nickelodeon, and one my girls love to watch.
