We were recently sent the 82-piece robot build kit to review, and my girls couldn't wait to sit down at the table with their Daddy and put together this chameleon, which has built in sensors that turn this into an interactive toy, with "follow me" and "escape" modes. In addition to the built in sensors, this chameleon robot also has cool color changing LED lights. Even though this robot kit is geared towards 12+, it can be completed as a family project, like my girls did with my husband.
As far as putting together the robot, it was easy to do. You get everything you need to put this robot together, minus the 4 AAA batteries. It took my husband and daughters about an half hour to put together, and then they couldn't stop playing with it.
