Are you doing a book advent this year, as you count down to Christmas? If you are and are still looking for some great books to wrap and share with your kids, then you will definitely want to check out this new holiday foil hardcover book, "All is Merry and Bright" by Jeffrey Burton, and illustrated by Don Clark. I was recently sent a copy of this new Nov. release from the folks at Simon and Schuster and couldn't wait to share it with my girls.
When you see the book up close you think it is a big book, with a lot of pages, but there are only 26 pages. It is like a big board book, but not your average board book, as the illustrated are adorned with bright colors and foil, that will catch both you and your child's attention. Even though this book is geared towards preschoolers and young children, both of my girls loved flipping through the pages and reading this holiday book with me. There are only a handful of words on each page, giving you time to linger and admire all the beautiful and playful illustrations. You can't help but get into the holiday spirit as you flip through this festive children's book, which is sure to be a book you will pull out and read to your child year after year.
I will be wrapping this book and adding to our holiday book advent, and know my girls will be all smiles when they unwrap it and sit to read and enjoy it with me.
