Last week we have had friends over for a cookout and game night. Usually I tell guests what we will be playing beforehand, but this time I wanted it to be a surprise as it knew the suspense and then game play would make for a more memorable game night...and, that it did!

I was recently sent the Original 8 player game from the folks at USAopoly Inc. and as part of a Tryazon in-home party testing.
When I first learned about this party game via email, I headed straight over to the USAopoly website to learn more. After reading more about it, I thought this would be a great game to play during the summer time, as we usually have a good group of friends over for backyard cookouts and game night.
Even though the suggested age for this game is 12+, my girls were able to play along.
You just have to be able to read cards you draw. It is a sketching game where you draw and have to guess, but you don't have to be an artist to have fun.
That is what is so great about this game as people have so much fun pretending to be an artist and drawing things that will you have scratching your head trying to figure out what it is.

Then, when the round is over and the word is revealed, you will have everyone gathered around the table laughing and trying to see how the sketch depicts the word, or saying, "Ah, I should have known."
Usually game nights at our house get competitive, but it is nice to switch things up and have a game that is not only challenging because of the need to be able to sketch and guess, but will have everyone laughing and wanting to play more. It was hard to call it quits on our Telestrations game night as everyone was having so much fun. This game really does bring people together, sharing laughs and making lasting memories. Ever since our game night, I have had friends share photos on their social media channels of sketches they or others drew and asked their friends to guess what it was. And, everyone can't stop asking me when our next Telestrations game night will be. I guess I have to start planning another cookout and game night soon. :-)
