To beat the heat today -- we are in day six of a 90+ degree heat wave here in New England, I took the girls to the movie to see the new Incredibles 2 movie. We saw the movie when it was released back on June 27th, and the girls have been begging to take them back to the movies to see it again....it was that good!
Prior to us heading out to the movies, the girls had to pretty themselves up with their fun new lip glosses from TowleyGirl. Recently, TownlyGirl launched an Incredibles 2 line for girls which includes lip balm, lip gloss and nail polish sets, featuring the Incredibles.
We were sent the following lip balm/gloss sets, which arrived days before we saw the Incredibles 2 for the the first time, and the girls were all smiles.
My girls like to collect lip balms and lip glosses, especially if they have their favorite movie and show characters on them. And, with these new sets from TownleyGirl, they get bonus goodies, like bouncy balls, a hand mirror or a tin to hold their lip products in.
Savannah was quick to grab the Lip Balm Set with the bonus bag to hold her new Incredibles 2 lip balm set in.
She had no idea that the tops of the lip balms came off and were bouncy balls.
When she found this out, she was so happy as she scored two bonus gifts with the three lip balms she received in the kit.
Out of the three flavored lip balms she received, Savannah said the strawberry flavored one was her favorite, as it smelled great and gave her lips just the right pop of color.
When she said this, I couldn't help but be reminded that my girls are not little anymore and are growing up. Now they are all about wearing lip gloss and balms and doing their nails and here. Kids sure do grow up fast.
Bella ended up choosing the hand mirror with lip balms set, as her Elena hand mirror broke recently and she has been looking for a new one to leave at her vanity table.
She liked how this hand mirror had the whole Incredibles family and how it looked like they were popping out of the back of the mirror.
And, just like her sister, Bella was all excited as she also got a bonus nail sticker sheet in the set, so she, too, got two bonus gifts -- the hand mirror and the the nail stickers.

The girls ended up sharing the third lip balm set we received from TownleyGirl.
And, because Savannah already received a bag to hold her lip balms in, she let Bella have the little tin that came with this set, so that they had a place to store her new Incredibles 2 lip balms, or store and bring with her on vacations this summer -- you never know when you will need lip balm. :-)
To make things even the girls gave me the Mr. Incredible lip gloss, and bonus sticker, so I didn't feel left out. I was surprised, but happy as they gave me a shimmery grape flavored lip gloss that reminded of ones I used to love wearing when I was their age. Their lip glosses were cotton candy and bubble gum flavored -- two other flavored lip glosses I used to love.
These lip balm/gloss sets that we received from TownleyGirl really were a great surprise, and have been a hit with my girls. Not a day goes by that they don't reach for one of their lip balms or lip glosses to put on. And, every time they do, they can't help but talk about the new Incredibles 2 movie and how great it it. As we were leaving the theater this afternoon they were quick to ask when we would be seeing it again, and when it will be releasing to DVD so that they can add to their movie collection and watch whenever they want.
My daughter's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, and I plan to pick up some of these Incredibles 2 cosmetic sets, along with the Party Pack of 8 lip balms from TownleyGirl to include in the favor bags I am preparing.
Seeing how much my girls liked these sets, I know their friends will love them, too!
