Miffy Fans Will Love These Cold Winter Activities and Crafts + Enter to #Win Some Great Miffy Gifts in #12DaysofMiffy Giveaway

"If you have a Miffy lover in your life, then these winter activities and crafts are going to be a huge with them.  Both of my girls LOVE Miffy, and have Miffy on the top of their wish list for Santa, as they can't get enough of the playsets, figures and plush.  They are hoping Santa brings them a Miffy table night lamp and matching nightlight, to add to their Miffy decor (AKA bed covered in Miffy plush toys) :-).

Check out these oh so fun, and easy winter-themed crafts, recipes and songs that will get families in the holiday spirit, if you aren't already.  We will be doing a snowman theme tomorrow for school, so the breakfast and dessert recipes are going to be a hit with the girls.

And, if these crafts and winter activities aren't fun enough, be sure to head on over to the official Miffy Instagram page to enter to win some great Miffy prizes.  Read on to learn how to enter and more about the #12DaysofMiffy going on now over at Instagram.

Snowflake Art Instructions

Using a dot of glue in the center of popsicle sticks, glue together the centers of 3-4 sticks to form a snowflake shape. Let it sit to dry for several minutes before decorating.  Design popsicle stick snowflakes using the decorations you have on hand.
Be creative and use your imagination…Remember, no two snowflakes are identical and they are all beautiful!
Warning: Small parts can be choking hazards and are not recommended for use with small children.
Mitten Craft Instructions
Place a hand palm down on top of construction paper. With a pencil or light colored crayon, outline the thumb and then the shape of the rest of the hand.  Do the same thing on the other side. Next, decorate as you like! Finally, cut small holes in the bottom of each and string pipe cleaner between the two mitten, tying a small knot at the end.

Edible Snowman Instructions
Holiday treats are always delicious, and more fun than ever when they look like a snowman!
Breakfast Snowman
Take a hardboiled egg and slice off two edges so it lays flat against a plate while still retaining a round shape.  Push thinly sliced celery stalks into the side to create arms and use three small pieces of grapes to create buttons.  Take another hardboiled egg and cut off both sides. Place that egg on top of the snowman body. Next, add two small pieces of tomato, a tiny triangle of cheese for mouth and cut pepper for the mouth. Finally, add a hat made out of a piece of toast laid horizontally on the head.
Dessert Snowman
Place three marshmallows on pretzel. Add chocolate chips for buttons and eyes, licorice for mouth and a candy for nose. Split half of a chocolate wafter or crème sandwich to make a hat."
Snowman Songs
Play some music while you work on these activities for even more fun! Check out the links below for some great “snow tunes”.
