We were recently sent a set of these cards, which consists of the first 54 cougars that have been studied by the National Park Service in the Santa Monica Mountains and Greater LA area since 2002.  Just like with baseball and other trading cards, these cards are full-color and come with information about the different cougars including information on their parents and children (if available) as well personal information about each cougar and a fun cougar fact.  

My girls had a blast looking through the 48 trading cards that make up this unique set.  There is even a checklist card in the plastic case, which makes storing your cougar trading cards easy, that you can use to match up the different cards in the series 1 set.
